the thing is one of those two can lack on Offense & you still have two ELITE scorers on the floor as opposed to two last year. If i'm GS im expecting Klay/KD to do damage on the defensive end. Even if that means productivity on offense going down a bit.
 
Lebron and the Cavs literally have 0 respect for the Celtics the sweep is on Dubs and Cavs enter finals 12-0 each gotta wait til June 1 wake me up then

compete and win are two different things. celtics and the spurs are considered contenders. there is a huge gap between them and the team they playing in the conference finals... wizard with pg still aint winning it.

I'd beg to differ. if wiz added PG and another consistent shooter they'd definitely give cavs a run. this wiz team would be an upgrade over the current indiana team at every position besides maybe Turner/Gortat

The one difference with KD on the floor vs Iggy and Barnes is that this will be the first series that Lebron is forced to play Def and not play rover on defense as he likes to do.

Still dont think Warriors have an answer for TT on the boards as that is still a glaring weakness the Warriors have not addressed.


That series will set an all time record for moving screens (not called) tho between Zaza and TT

if gsw can take a game in san antonio i could see kerr/brown resting iggy until june 1st

12-0 means nothing. unless they sweep the finals it means nothing IMO

lakers went 15-1

anything less than that isn't even worth talking about
 
who cares about a sweep?? i just wanna see my team win 4 games in the finals. there's no difference between 4-0 and 4-3 winning is winning

GS might be able to get by without Klay's offense but they need every bit of KD's offense in the finals. Isn't that the main reason they brought KD to this team? To be able to produce offense when Steph, Klay and Dray shots are not falling like last years finals.

Call me Crazy but i think The Trio of ZaZa/ Javale/ Mcgee is gonna help neutralize the boards a bit. Remember Bogut was injured last year leaving them with basically a rusty Ezili/ Mo Speights & spot minutes for Mcadoo. Alot of Tristan's boards come from him just physically bullying guys out the way. While ZaZa and West aren't the greatest athletes they are physical and big bodies. Add in Javale elite athleticism & i think they can do a decent Job on the boards.

They honestly just need him to knockdown open shots and basically not go harrison Barnes mode. He can Easily surpass that production while still attempting to go 100% in on defense.

I think they brought him in just because he is a great player and was willing to come.  I don't think he was filling a need necessarily.
 
I remember when we were having the KD to the warriors discussion last year during the season. I didn't think it would work and Harrison Barnes what a better fit.
So wrong i was.

Curious? What was your thought process?

KD was tailor made to fit with the Warriors.
