Steve Ballmer is one playoff elimination closer from moving the Clippers to Seattle

I hope when CP finally retires, he goes off on David Stern for changing his career trajectory which led to him never winning a ring.

NBA landscape would look so much different. SMH

Had CP3 been a Laker, Kobe would still be playing, Kobe would've probably never hurt his achilles and extended his career, Dwight would've had two-three solid years with LAL instead, Nash would've never been signed, Kevin Durant and/or Aldridge would've probably come to Los Angeles as a free agent, and the Warriors would be without a title. It would've been LAL vs CLE in the Finals three straight years instead.

Imagine what could've been for the Lakers the last couple of years:

CP3
Kobe
Durant
Aldridge

Stern knew what he was doing.
No.

One of the biggest mistakes the NBA made over the last 10+ years was failing to ensure a Kobe vs. Lebron meeting in the Finals.

In '69, we had Wilt vs Russell
In the 80s we had Magic vs Bird and Magic vs Isiah
In the 90s we had Jordan vs Magic and Jordan vs Mailman

Since 2000, the only thing remotely close to a Finals rivalry that we've seen has been Lebron vs Duncan and Lebron vs. Curry, but neither of these are on the epic scale that a Lebron vs Kobe matchup brings to the table.
Well we had KD and LeBron once

Might happen again :nerd:

Why are the Warriors gonna win it all man...it's not fair

Man work is killing me right now.

Tapped out dead early, didn't watch any of the games.

Can only imagine the slander Russ and the Clippers got.

Monday I decided to go to sleep instead of watching the Warriors wash the Blazers, no regrets.

There wasn't as much CP3 slander as you'd expect but Russ was discussed for hours..

On the topic of Russ, this series has brought on from what I can remember the most usage of a non basic stat by the national media ever. Every ten minutes Russ' On/Off stats were mentioned.

Well, OKC took Russ out in the second half and they got sent home.

One of the few times where +- was obvious was last night which is why I think it was mentioned so much...

We gotta talk more about how much Gordon Hayward balled last night. Guy put up numbers and had a few clutch rebounds baskets and free throws.

What's with all the Lakers talk in the Playoff thread, I swear y'all can't get over yourselves

Anyway white paul George did his thing last night :pimp:

And forget this getting outscored by 27-9 while resting Russ talk

He shot 5/18 from 3

Not enough backlash on Westbrook sportsmanship. Bron had 10-12 pages worth of hate. Y'all switch up so quick

Nothing hard about being a little b after the game

Had Russ won the series he would be there collect hugs and handshakes

They need to send Roberson to a sports psychologist or something. There's no way he shoots 3/21 on free throws in practice.

That spotlight makes him shrivel up. He's gotta overcome that.

Dude must be having visions of the Rockets bench dying of laughter each time he shoots FT's

Man, which star/superstar is going to OKC to play with Russ?

1. It is OKC
2. Man, those shots this dude took in the 4th quarters of these games. My god. Anti-Basketball 101
3. This, "Russ has bums for teammates" narrative HAS to stop. They aren't bums, he just doesn't bring out the best in them.
