One of the funny things I found was Akademiks acting like he was "humbling" Wale. Because someone needs to tell him the truth.

But he recognizes he's corny, but why did he stay hidden for so long?

He was doing passive aggressive disses. Nobody wants to be you. :lol: Man I hate that the internet has made these dudes popular to the point they actually feel they're celebrities. It's the same way with sneaker youtubers, people line up to meet them and to get their autographs. When did it become cool for a man to discuss gossip?

Akademiks has a mind of a teenager, I have a hard time believing he's in his late 20's. Some of the stuff he says is corny. Meek's people are getting shot and killed. What adult, like real mature adult would want to be Meek? Because he smashed Nicki? You want to be someone because they're famous and have money? I think that's why Wale went out of his way to prove himself to him.

He's running to his Live Stream to hear opinions that agree with his and to get a pat on the back for his interview. The same **** he's complaining about Wale doing.

Then dudes on the internet saying how corny he is. Dude didn't understand the egg comment. Then dude said he's hating on Akademiks and defending him and calling Meek's fans stans.

This dude can't be upper 20's. Taking a stand is posting gossip? And dudes big this up?

it's a revolving door of income

he using the streams to draw eyes to the show with joe

he uses the show with joe to draw more eyes to his brand

youtube is literally the real world now and has been for years

dj ak knows where he stands

but people also have to stop discrediting youtube, these youtube cats are really stars, it's no different from tv it's just an alternate platform

these cats are legit media outlets

I'm not caping for dj ak but what's he said that's not true?

he really doesn't jump out the window with comments much

everything he said bout wale is true, wale just doesn't feel he holds enough weight to say it

but as I was just saying, the game has shifted, dj ak is just as financially stable as wale but people are holding onto the old standard of what fame and how you get a check is

I've said it maybe here or another thread but joe has a punchable tone of voice and dj ak has a punchable look

out of the 2 joe will be the one to get pressed soon

Wale was never really poppin like that. I heard nike boots when it came out and his flow was so lazy and boring fast foward 10 years and it is still the same. Ppl been saying wale trash for a minute every breakfast club interview he has been on he expressed how much he doesnt get love like he deserves but still comes out with the same formula for every album. What made the interview weird was joe trying to ride wale the whole interview.
 
Joe's been a Wale fan for years. He's always talked about him being good and underrated so it wasn't surprising. Didn't expect him to say anything negative about Wale but at least he still said Wale flopped

We done started calling pockets again. Who cares how much money Akademiks is making? He still wack dawg. N_ gotta stop that pocket watching stuff. For his generation, Wale spits. Period. If you can't understand that, then you're not a real rap fan. Just go ahead a say so.

and thinks he's on the same level as the artist and is doing the public some service and putting artist in their place.

Like he's doing a public service talking about celebs. And people sit on his Live Stream and gas his head up about what he does.

Star was doing it for a check.

It's a crazy society and period we're in.
