the same reason why one would want to watch ak's war on chiraq content is the same reason why drill blew in the first place

Ak or his supporters should have never tried to sell those videos as some enlightening content because he clowned the killers at the end

if lyor cohen and jimmy iovine can profit off of black pain then why do we have a problem with Ak doing it...because he's not hood?

Vic and the entire culture needs to make their mind up right now on who is allowed to profit off of black pain because right now what I see is that you're cool with old white men doing it but not a regular black dude...it's hypocritical to denounce these killings and then say someone doesn't have enough stripes yet to talk about them...that mentality is part of why kids are chasing their "stripes" now

this is the direction that conversation should have went in, especially since Chance and Vic are still very much in bed with Iovine. Where is Chief Keef's Apple Music special

maybe yall arent but vic definitely is if he feels this adamant about the glamourizing and posturing of the death and pain in chicago like theyre carnival performers yet still doing business w them

how is it a near uncontrollable urge to slap akademiks but you are skinning and grinning w the lyor and iovine types who safe to say played a huge part in glamourizing this lifestyle in these kids heads in the first place

Well that's why some rappers start their own labels.
 
1) Jimmy Iovine Lyors of the world have been getting called on this for the past two decades, they're at positions now where nobody is gonna stop them from profiting unless all of hiphop denounces record labels as a whole

2) Ak being a young black men in the world that we're living in is absolutely gonna catch more heat. For one this isn't some rap "image" he's putting together he's talking about real life street **** and spreading information in detal about these sets. Iovine & Lyor are old white men, i'm not expecting them to have the best interest of young black men in their plans because they've shown their hands in the past. Ak however is someone who can be directly effected by the thoughts on black men that these videos enable.

3) Vic stated that he was talking down on his homie he's known since he was 5, that's obviously gonna hit a personal cord and something you will remember vividly.

Also i hate this idea that has been forming that you can't be pro black or fight for your people because your doing business with other white people. it's never that clear cut & it's the music industry that is owned by white people even if your an independent your breaking big bucks with white owned businesses. The infrastructure just isn't available in music to not deal with people who may not care about your culture. We have to use them and feed our culture the same way they use us to feed their's

Once I seen multiple people insinuate that he was "shedding light" on Chicago...I knew there was no winning that argument
