anyone in here got a burger at Peter Luger in NY? I saw it on its delicious and damn, probably high quality meat. making me wanna go to NY just for Peter Luger steak and that burger

heard nothing but good things about steak there

Never had the burger. Steak is absolutely top notch.

May not be the best steak in NY per say (there's a lot of great ones and a lot of them are from guys who used to work at Lugers) but probably the best steak meal I've had in NY from top to bottom (apps, entree', dessert).

Medium all day although im not mad at a medium rare.


Wont front use to alwaya get medium well til i went to this spot for my bday a few mths ago. Waiter said the chef wouldnt cook anything more than medium so i said f it and tried medium. Cant believe what ive missed all these years.
 
Johnny Rockets fell off HARD...atleast in my area (dmv)

The food quality is sh*tty and the service is just horrible to the point where my family and i walked out numerous occasions, and it wasnt even busy tbh

Same here man. Same with steaks. Up until 3 years ago, I was a typical, "Black person that didn't want to eat raw food" dude, until I saw the light.

I too missed out all of these years.

Might even try medium rare soon because I think my stuff gets cooked MORE than medium because they see a black person and they probably assume I want it as less pink as possible. So if I order Medium Rare, I will actually get the medium that I want.
 
Medium rare for a steak, yes!

When I let my girl she ate everything else done.

I remember when we went to a nice place the first time and she ordered her steak well done... I legit said out loud WTF are you doing :lol:

She gets everything medium now after moving down the ladder to medium well then medium
 
I don't know why it is irritating when a girl gets her stuff well done because, "I don't like to see pink." Even though you have explained to them dozens, AND DOZENS, of times that pink doesn't mean blood/alive/raw.

That irritates me SO much for some reason.

Yea I know I was once a well-doner and I know it is HER food, but damn it is frustrating
