What simple things make you happy?

Spending time with real people in the real world.

I started skateboarding and my niece loves it too. So now on a couple weekends a month, my wife and I go skate with her and she's getting into streetwear too.

I get to spend time outside with my fam doing something physical. Win win win.

Soft Serve Ice Cream with sprinkles.

A solid 2-3 hour session of pickup basketball.
Waking up on Fridays knowing there's no work the next day.
Not having any plans or obligations on a day with nice weather.
Genuine compliments and conversations from strangers.

I've been trying to do this. Like, if I'm out, and see someone in nice kicks or something, I give them genuine compliments

-a panoramic view of the starry night sky.

-hearing a favorite song out of context.

-executing a new technique perfectly.

-seeing a new or rare color.

-the first kiss with a woman I'm really into.

-the wind in my magnificent purple locs when I stick my head out of a moving vehicle.

-ice cold water on a hot day.

Good choice. My favorite childhood moments revolve around skateboarding. If I had a time machine I would jump right in and go back to 1998

Early Spring/Summer mornings

Having a good conversation with a stranger

Non argumentative relationships

As a kid, the first day of summer vacation

Smelling rain before it comes and right when it falls

I was messing around on my friend's crappy water-logged board that he keeps in his garage the yesterday and I was instantly hooked again. Just rolling around doing basic tricks made me remember how much I love skateboarding. Went online and ordered a brand new complete and shoes as soon as I got home.

Rubbing suede/nubuck, pushing small rubber and metal-buttons in.

Sun hitting my face and warming it feels good.

Listening and watching the ocean is relaxing.

When I stretch and my lower back decompresses into a satisfying crack.

Wearing cushion(y) shoes for the first time in a while.

It's frustrating for me because I grew up skating pretty seriously and had a decent bag of tricks.  Getting back into it is rough because I remember the days where I could do pretty advanced tricks consistently, but now it's tough to even get comfortable doing the basics.  I would always get disheartened and hang up my board again.  This time around I'm just gonna accept the fact that it's gonna take me a decent amount of time to get back to where I was previously.

Having a clean living space/car.

Drinking a beer on my balcony on a warm spring/summer day.

Early morning/late night bike rides.

Changing into comfortable clothes after work.

Cured meats, cheese, and cold antipasto plates.

Showering after the gym.

Waking up early on the weekends.

Spending time with good friends.

1.VIBES/GOOD CONVO

I feel like this is so unappreciated. I tend to stay to myself, but I love when I can have a good conversation with a stranger (or friends/family) and it's just nothing but good energy. There's just not of that going around these days.

2. FOOD

Good food can make my whole day. I'm a stress eater, so if I get a good quality meal (or even snacks) I'm good to go. There is just something about food that brings joy.
