I have a feeling the 2s leather is crap. Now that it's been a over 10 years of buying Jordan's, you can kindve guess just by looking at them
 
I don't think MJ ever wore the Converse Fastbreak while he was at UNC, which I've seen a few people on IG complaining about. I think he only wore the Converse Pro Leather and Pro Star during his UNC days, and the Fastbreaks were worn during the '84 Olympics but in a white/navy colorway, not carolina blue. Nike's press release said this about putting the Fastbreaks in the pack:

"MJ’s refusal to skip the 1984 games is another classic example of his “Love of the Game.” Having just been drafted, it was arguably in his best interest to decline, but instead he helped lead the USA men’s basketball team to a gold medal. During the games, he wore his favorite Converse model, the Fastbreak. To honor his memorable performances in Converse sneakers at the University of North Carolina (including a national title) and in the 1984 Olympics, the Fastbreak returns in Carolina Blue."

$190 for 2's and $110 for the converse?

I'm an AJ II fan, even with the date on them. I still like the shoe.

The converse is ok. Of course, could do without. But the wings logo on the insole is a nice touch.

Any chance these could sellout? I say no but I would like to see you guys take on it?
 
Nike and Jordan have such a rich actual history. Why do they still get so much of it wrong and make other stuff up?

I'll say no as well. Even tho $300 is better than $500.

The 2 and the converse is not a popular model for most.

$190 for the 2, $110 for the converse. Seems too much for me. Might sell better than DMP 13/14 but I think these will sit for a bit.

So no pics of Jordan actually wearing that pair of converse? Damn, I dig it, but no Bueno if MJ didn't actually wear it during his younger years.
 
A lot of my tastes in style have changed but I still think the IIs are one of the ugliest of the classic Jordans 
embarassed.gif
 
They are alright in my book. But certainly not as iconic as 1,3,6 and 11.
