Luxury Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana is under fire once again. A few days ago, one-half of the talented duo Stefano Gabbana shared a photo of a shoe that's since caused an uproar on social media.

The original illustration was shared by Japanese illustrator Jumpei Kawamura on Instagram, but the $973 embellished leather shoe is part of Dolce & Gabbana's Fall/Winter collection.

"I'm thin & gorgeous" is clearly printed in big blue lettering, created to "reflect millennial style". While the rest of the shoe is decorated with cute slogans, colorful hearts and music notes, this one seems to have missed the mark.

Social media agreed.

Critics called the shoe 'offensive'. Gabbana responded to his commenters with some harsh words.

This comes months after the designer publicly body shamed Lady Gaga after her Superbowl halftime show.

Gabbana has responded to Instagram complaints with “Darling you prefer to be fat and full of cholesterol??? I think you have a problem” … “idiot”… and “u think is better to be fat full of hamburger??? Stupid.”

Gabbana continues drawing negative attention to himself, adding to his recent body-shaming of Lady Gaga, and complaints of him dressing Melania Trump

I don't think I got any d&g in my collection, this one got nothing to do with me

Lady Gaga's body was perfect in the superbowl. Then again, Gabanna is a gay so its not a surprise he doesnt find women attractive.

It's a high-end luxury brand...they have their market. It's not like it's a designer from H&M (that most people can afford) saying the same thing where the blowback would be 10x worse. If you can afford D&G, chances are his comments and political affiliations don't influence your purchases.

da smugness of da not giving of da damns was downright cinematic considering da era we're...in da 90's it would've been just a Tuesday

someone who aligns with the superior, and cannot even write a coherent sentence is baffling. does not surprise me though, people who voted for trump can't think for themselves.

The irony is that it's just a lot of rich old people who aren't in the greatest shape that purchase it. You're lying if you think it's just skinny women buying it.
