Well I wouldn't call it a dire SITUATION if it is regularly happening. I know dudes that consistently ask their girls for money.
I remember one childhood friend, I hadn't seen in like 6 years, stopped by. We were playing 2K11, he never played anything after NBA Live 03. The game impressed him SO MUCH, he got on the phone, called HIS GIRL and said, "Aye, you think you can buy me an XBOX."

Never and still don't have a problem taking, borrowing or telling them to do something for me....why not? If she got bread and willing to part, no problem. It's your girl man, nothing off limits. And do the same, if u can. When I was younger spending stupidly, no problem asking to get held down for a few days. Even better when they offer.

The only time i "borrow" money from my girl (Who's my wife now) is if we're at a place that doesn't accept card. I never have cash on me.

I think it depends on what stage in life you are in. I mean, I'm 30 and make 70k+ annually, don't think I should be borrowing money from ANYONE(other than JP Morgan). If I have to do that, then I have done something wrong somewhere with my finances. In the past when I was a broke college student yes I borrowed money. I have had women give me money before, but it was offered to me, I never asked. Even if my girl was super rich, I wouldn't ask, bc I am doing fine taking care of myself.
As far as favors...I ask for them all the time. Wouldn't that be a perk of being in a relationship with someone? Lol. The only people I ask for favors are my mom, my sister, and whoever I'm dating at the time. I wouldn't ask other because I don't want all my business out in the streets. Lol

Favors yeah, we do each other favors. Pretty sure that's healthy for relationships. Money nah. I probably would if I really had to though.
