I like how he denies he ever said "if you can't afford the Z02, you're not a big baller." OK, Trump. That is in fact EXACTLY what he tweeted. People really need to learn that when they put things on social media, those things are actually there for others to see.
EDIT: As a long-time Lakers fan, I don't know what I'll do if Lonzo Ball ends up here. I can't cope with the idea of having to listen to this jackass Lavar for the next however many years lol

This is how I think every fan base is feeling right now. If the Lakers don't pick him then I seriously wouldn't be surprised if he drops in the draft because teams don't want to deal with his dad. Lavar can say all he wants that he's just going to chill back and not get involved but we all already know with how he handled Lonzo's agent situation as well as the sneaker situation he will be HEAVILY involved in everything that his kid does. He'll also probably be throwing Lonzo's teammates under the bus in interviews any time they lose.

But the shock value of what his dad says can only last so long, if he would pick and choose the ridiculous stuff he says it wouldn't be so predictable already. Lonzo is going to have to win ROY and MVP like someone said to even live up to a fraction of the "hype". I don't see it...

Seriously who cares about his dad if the kid can ball.
Look at guys who run their mouths in the league like Draymond Green, Isiah Thomas. If they can ball and help the team win, everything else is secondary.

Draymond & IT are players and aren't on the same stratosphere as Lavar.
I'm a Lakers fan too, and honestly think having Lavar living in the same city as Lonzo plays will be a HUGE mistake for Lonzo & the Lakers.

Not that we have a choice or say in the matter, but it's just my personal feeling that I don't want this kid or his dad on "my" team
I don't cheer blindly for players just because of the jersey they have on. And while it is unfair to dislike Lonzo because of Lavar, that's still how I feel. Sorry, Lonzo. I don't like to flat-out cheer for anyone to fail, because that's bad karma if nothing else, but in this case, I'm struggling to stick to that principle. The dad is so over-the-top annoying and ignorant, he deserves to see his meal ticket fail hugely.
