can da Raptor VII 2012 release be considered "remastered?"

Maaaaannn lemme say this.... that 2012 pair is one of the best versions of a retro of any shoe I've ever seen! Might be the best retro ever imo, far as materials used n whatnot, especially considering how trash Nike been over the last decade or so

300$ for my size on stockx, I'm not paying that. I'll just wait for them too release again.
 
These are only of two of all the original colorway 7s I haven't owned. The other I thought would release in 2016 but they gave us something that was a travesty. The thing that upsets me with the 2012 version is the shape and fitting. They fit too big and the leather wasn't that good on the leather based 7s. I will wait for them to remaster.
 
my boy had a pair of the '02s that he ended up just giving away in like 2006

I had the '09 DMP and I honestly didn't like then that much. I like the shape, round laces, and subtle material contrast of the '02 pair.
 
Over the years I've fallen out of love with the 2012 charcoals. Something is off about them. The rope laces, the single tone, the shape. Every thing is all wrong. I still like them but after seeing the 2015 Hare's and Boudreaux's I know JB can give us a better iteration.

2012 Raptor 7's might be the definition of good enough far as JB retros goes :lol:

Stuff to like about it and also have issue with

Definitely wouldn't call them Remastered or better than the 02's
 
im also not a fan of the 2012 release. 

i have all of the retros and doubled on them in 2012, i wore them alot around 2012 and really grew to dislike them.  the shape is definitely off and the fit is weird too.  they have these roomy *** toe boxes.  even compared to the 2011 bordeauxs that i rocked alot around that time too. 

but i respect if someone likes the 2012s.  there are retros i like that people arent fans of all day. 
 
The only thing I dislike about the 2012 version was the shape. It wasn't near as high as my 2006 cardinal's, but I did like the quality, fit, appearance and comfort. I can actually feel the air units in my '12 raptors which I can't say the same for some of the other retros to release after, such as '14 infrareds and '15 aquas.

2012 model was solid as hell the go's had better color blocking but looked ashy Imo now y'all are tripping the 2015 hares were water especially with the NA on the insole and the FTLOTG olympic 7s held up better than my 2012s and 2004s easily

2012 couldn't have been ashy because they were durabuck. Nubuck is the ashy stuff. Some of y'all will call anything ashy smh

I obviously know the difference I'm just saying my preference I was basically saying if they did the correct color blocking with durabuck I would have fallen in love but the og's looked ashy because they caught dust are dirt easier because of the materials lol ready to call someone  clown for what 
 
Those glossy peaks on the 2013 charcoals are just awful as well. A proper retro is immensely overdue. IMO they've never been retro'd the right way. 2012's, DMP's and even the 2002's are damn near a different shoe compared to the OG's
 
2012 are nice. But I personally like the dmp the best of all retro s since the original.
