Venezuelan Socialism has descended Country into complete chaos.

We have enough issues in this country that a vast majority have their head buried in the sand. Exactly what would more coverage of the problem in Valenzuela accomplish here? Don't get me wrong, what's happening there is a tragedy, but we have a tragedy of our own in the White House.

You're correct, the WH issue is worse.

Venezuela is in the midst of a war — a bread war. That's according to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Amid a severe economic crisis, his government is dealing with widespread food shortages. Now, even bread is hard to find.

In a recent speech, Maduro accused bakers of waging a "bread war against the Venezuelan people."

Comparatively, Venezuela is way worse. Trump is a buffoon that if he gets his way will structurally weaken the economy and set up another great recession down the line but America's economy is much more resilient and Venezuela so there is a bit of idiot proofing in place. And Obama did had him off a decently functioning economy. Venezuela is pretty jammed with right now because of oil prices

Now not adjusted for size, if Trump gets his way with health insurance, cutting the social safety net, doubling down on the war on drugs, and ignoring the opioid crisis, he will probably condemn the say number of people (probably more) to a life of economic and physical ruin. America has the freedom for this not to be the case

Also both countries are rules by corrupt leaders that put the enrichment of themselves over all else (Actually give the subsidies when the economy is doing well, Venezuela might have America beat, since Trump is actively trying to hurt the poor)

So relatively, America might not be in as bad a shape as Venezuela. It is still shameful and disgusting what our currently leadership is planning to do.

Apples to oranges. But both bunches are rotten

I'm assuming you're confusing Venezuela with Colombia? I think that's what the question mark posted above is for. I can't make any sense of it either.

Edit: And regarding posts about Trump being worse than the situation in Venezuela, I get it and I 110% agree Trump is an absolute disaster but it's a bit disrespectful to what these poor folks in Venezuela are going through. They're starving, having to fight in the streets for bits of food or water, ...

Their government has completely abandoned them and the mass protests are on a completely different level.

These people are so desperate, many were throwing their own feces at government security forces. Let that sink in for a moment.

Trump is very likely to engage in Nuclear War and is completely unhinged. No disrespect to the people of Valenzuela, but their situation can't escalate into WW3.

I dunno why I made that mistake. Since I got the first line right. I know lil to nothing about Colombia's economy.

Possible yes but Venezuela is going through this right now.

Dude I'm comparing incompetent governments, was not trying to have a despair **** measuring contest.

What is happening to the Venezuelan people are horrible but I don't think someone that is living in abject poverty in American should be giving thanks for their situation because they can still cop a loaf of bread.

Got friends in venezuela. Been a mess a while now..

Chavez + Maduro smh

It is deeply unsettling that Venezuela is going through this.
