I can see the person responsible saying they did it for the ppl who don't have the luxury to own a box logo or nt merch. Some sneaker utubers are going through the same thing with yzy szn and anti social merch. Homie should break of a charity if he's doing it for the love and not the dollar
 
the bad news is they fit like a noah hoodie. when you put them on they look like they say suuuuuuuuuupnt.

I don't put ALL the blame on Meth, you chargeback a-holes made it worse for everyone else.

After years of missing out, I just want a snapback with NT on it, this variant will do quite frankly.

The quantities on this release were low because they were originally intended for a contest/promotion with Wikia.  When it became clear that we would be parting ways with Wikia, we had the hats sent to ISS so we could make them available directly as part of a fundraiser for some important and timely causes.

... but probably in a different color.  

Ideally, we'll have a new hat release for you by the end of the year, but it depends on manufacturer support.  

As for this particular rash of unauthorized merchandise, it's been dealt with.  The quantities were smaller than the initial color selection led me to believe.  It's in the category of "when fan art goes wrong."  Thankfully, we put a stop to it before things got out of hand, with hopefully minimal damage done.  

We're not trying to be tyrants here, just protect the name and logos of the community we've worked so hard to build together over the past 17 & 1/2 years. 
 
I saw these on IG and thought it was cool if it was made for NT members. The only person I saw that had it was an NTer. I do sort of wish NT had some legit stuff done with a more major brand. I wouldn't say Supreme but something of that nature. I think if an actual company took over the manufacturing process, it could get done faster and in bigger quantities. I know Bobby from the Hundreds is on here and even Mark from Fatlace.

If they're interested in collaborating for charity, we're certainly open to that.  

We teamed up with Cap City and Instyleshoes to produce and sell the last run of snapbacks, after all, so we're open to collaboration - particularly with those companies that have a longstanding relationship with our community.  Both the owners of Cap City and ISS have been members for years, and both companies supported the community as sponsors, which helps us stay online.  

In terms of manufacturing, it's worth noting that all the hats we've released to date were produced by New Era directly - so they were in charge of the manufacturing process.  They were not  just customized blanks, and that's actually part of the reason why they've take more time to produce.  We'd welcome the opportunity to partner with an apparel company for future NT shirts as well, to produce the best products we can and do as much good as we can with them.
