so my friend hit me up like yo you trying to hit up happy hour? i just got out of work mind you its 3:30 and my friend was like ya i can meet up at 5:30... so im like damb i have to wait for your as... at first im like no thats a long wait but then i was like ill get something to eat and i havent hung out with this friend in a while so i will catch up with them... i had a haircut appointment today and i rescheduled for saturday to hang out with my friend... so they were like meet up at their house and im like im outside... they were like lets go quakersteak yall already know i had a bad experience there check my tipping thread out lol.... so i didnt even park my car and left my friends house and was like ok im on way there...

they said ok ill be there... i get there and have a drink.... my friend hits me up like ya i will be there in 5 minutes... mind you this was like 5:45... so im drinking my beer and its about to be 6 and happy hour is about to end and i want to order another drink... 2 waitress just consistently walk by me and wait on other people disregard me being there asking for another drink but continue to serve everyone around me... so im already pissed about the service this was the second time this place has sucked for me... so i was like you know what im a just get that 1 drink and get my check... it was like 3.00 for my beer so i leave 1.00 because i feel generous even though the serviced sucked... its like 6:15 and im like man im not waiting for my friend all day plus it sucked being there so i left... i texted my friend like yo the service sucked and we will chill another time just not tonight... they all apologizing for taking mad long and meeting up all late and wants to go somewhere else and even calls me but i just ignored it... i kinda felt disrespected like they just come and go whenever they want and just ignore the time i spent waiting on them

long story short was i wrong to just leave the bar and not just wait for my friend when they invited me to hang out?

Sounds like you the one that got dissed. Had you sitting at the bar ordering drinks you really didnt want and getting ignored by waitresses again

You've taken more L's then Hannah Baker b.

* still looking bummy after switching up your barber appointment.

* drinking 1 beer during the duration of happy hour

* not receiving your skinny fries from your previous visit.

* Going back to an establishment that has a cell phone picture of you on the wall with "Do Not Serve" written next to it.

* Not having the respect from your friends to let you know that they had no intention of even coming to see you.

i actually wanted more drinks but the waitress aint give me the time or day... i guess money saved though?

Word this last one really stood out to me. If i was meeting up with my homie and for some reason something came up and he couldnt link up i know hed hit me telling me whats good. Clearly dude dont respect you

^ thanks for your opinion thats all i was asking for even if it means jokes on me... i already had a feeling this friend wasted my time so i kinda felt like i need to off them and needed that justification and thought it was just me... but you guys also see the same thing...

sounds like a middle schooler telling this story. TL:DR gave me a headache

That's even worse that they invited you out and they were the ones that were late.

I grew up in culture where punctuality means everything.

a lot of my friends miss the time by 30 min to an hour. I hate that **** about American culture, how its casual to mess up scheduled time (wasting people's time) and blame it on traffic or some bs.

I completely understand where u coming from

You sound like a glutton for punishment.

Need to purchase a back bone asap.

Type of dude to be in the right for reacting a certain way and then be the first to apologize.
