High School Prom vol. don't know how to dance...

You been watchin "She's All That" and think it will be some choreographed dance?? Lol jk but I too grew up in the era where you could just try your luck grinding with random singles. I honestly wouldn't worry too much, just dance close or slow dance and you should be fine.

Lol @ dancehall at a high school prom. He go to Bumbaclot Prep?

OP just try to not overthink it and have fun. At least learn the two step, once you get that down you can add a little flair to it.

I remember one time I busted from dancing with a girl grinding on me. :smh: ahh to be 17 again lol

OP 3 weeks is MORE than enough time to learn these latest trend dance.
Just go to Youtube and watch a few videos.
Most of them are just a two step with an easy variation added to it.

Just learn a few moves until you know how to do them reliably and just linking them together. Easy.

Start with easy ones like Dabbing, Rollie, and Reverse. Dougie is good to get your two step mechanics on point.

Then progress to harder Memphis Jookin inspired moves and you all good.

Then after the prom show her your O face

One of the best things I did as a kid growing up was to just turn on music in my room and dance alone and look in the mirror. You literally just have to practice at it. I was the goofball at one dance where I couldn't do it and then I forced myself to dance and by the next dance, I had no issues. And dancing at a prom is easy. Catch a rhythm and just bounce to it all night long.

Denzel really changed my life when I heard a quote of his.
He said "Anything you practice, you'll be good at."

From then on I start practicing the things I wanted to be good at.
And I have improved tremendously.
The only other thing is don't procrastinate. Start today.

Thanks for the advice guys
I'll look at some YouTube videos and practice but I won't sweat it. Just want to have a good time and hopefully a pleasant after prom experience...

2 step my man. One step to the left, one to the right. Let her lead, just follow her movements and work the fluid hips
