Notorious BIG Brooklyn mural coming down? SMH. Update: it's staying!

ANTHEM!

"Caribbean Connection" at the top of the vid too.....

Remembering me and my cousin freshly popping in the cd, rolling down the windows and cruising the streets with his loud *** system.....we were at a stoplight when Pun did that farting sound in the intro

Thread went from Biggie mural to Jay slander to AZ appreciation to Pun appreciation.

Not mad at all fellas. :pimp:

Son was never that familiar with Pun to begin with but was comfortable slandering him? what kinda ******** is that?
i was familiar
but not that freestyle
these other songs posted I've heard and not impressed by
i thought y'all was gonna hip me
but now I'm back to my original statement
hes not that good
or as good as people be making him seem
like big l
never seen the hype either

also big pun aint really that good
:smh:

as far as a well rounded artist goes pun might not be everyones top 3 but....

he had hardcore thug records
he had love songs
he had party songs
he had storys
he had horrorcore tracks
he sang on that one track with tony
all these tracks while being lyrical.
he annihilated all his peers on all his features (not one could keep up with exception of black thought and even then he still smoked him)

dude used to read the dictionary front to back.... knowledgeable

he rapped what he lived and the storys are around if you need them.
he was smacking ni55as all up and down the bronx to harlem and back with the uzi he was rapping about.
he really was out there pumping packs in those days
he lived for his kids and family as well

given he did have those blemishes with that one video where he smacks lisa with the mak.
but that only made him human. (not saying its cool to smack wifey up with any object but we all make mistakes )

was he as nice as people made him out to be... yes.
pop in any one of his tapes from first song to the the last they were classics.
he also had classic skits as well.
air pun, packindamakinbackoftheac, etc.

now tell us why pun wasnt the truth

The Pun vids in here have me wishing him and Big had got on a couple tracks together.

:smh:

I feel like Pun would've bodied Big too. Honestly, that dude has a track record of out shining people. Probably why so many rappers respected him (street stuff aside).
