Thought on buying Beaters

Hi guys , I think this is my second post so far
I got a little of discussion I wanted to talk
What's your thought on buying Beated Sneakers?

I always got that feeling that's like "Damn it was a steal , 50 USD For Beated Carmine 6's ...But with heel drags n piss yellowing tho"

And another one, I able to get some good deal (I think) I bought the OG Beated Taxis for like 50bucks

I do regrets some I've bought like SUPER BEATED 11 Lows Tuxedo (45$ , BUT WHY DID I BOUGHT IT)
So what's your thought on buying Beaters , and do you Regrets or Wear em often?
 
Never bought beaters.

Only a few shoes id consider buying beat.....unkle,paris,jedi dunk.

^^ those 12 aint bad for 50 tho theyre easy to clean.

Some jordans look horrible beat....7..8..9..11..13..15..

Some still look aite..1...3...4..

But wearing beat shoes also depends on the rest of your fit...if your fit is clean and fresh beaters may not look so good

But if you are like a hipster or something and you wearing a sweater, jeans and beater 1s it could fit.

Tnats not so good an explanation but theres an aesthetic that works with certain beat sneakers.

Forces look terrible beat

I buy new shoes that I intend to use as beaters.
But I would never buy CPO beaters. I always wonder how many times have they been worn by the previous person(s) to get to that point.

General cats outgrew this type of foolishness. Only people I see rock js in my day to day is janitors at my work.

Disgusting. If u want beaters go buy a pair of cheap nikes from the outlets or something. I'm not buying beat down smelly kicks man.

I use my global game kds as beaters/everyday kicks.
 
Never brought beaters, but I've sold quite a few and made decent pocket change :lol:


No judgement to people that do though. If you can restore shoes (on a Retrosnickers level) you're winning. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Everybody can't afford new 200.00 J's.
 
I did that in high school, I never cared as long as I got a deal. People would talk but I rocked what I like. Now, no way I'd buy used. If it looks like it was clearly worn once yea, I did for my Chicago 1s. Other than that, knowing that my own foot sweats like a ************ I couldn't put on another man's.

Agreed with above, I'll sell any used kicks I don't wear anymore to put it down for another pair tho

Found a pair of beat/worn black CDP Cement 3's at the thrift shop last week. Other than the midsole cracking and them being a size small (I took the insole out and they fit okay) I can't really complain too much.

The thought of someone else running them into the ground is kinda :rolleyes but for the price I paid I couldn't pass on one of my favorites.

Plus your doing it wrong paying 50...so far you paid 150$ for 3 pairs of beat shoes

I try to sell my beaters for 20$ if they ain't gone in a few days trash or goodwill

People use the public restrooms in their shoes, plus if they beat they probably wore them daily for a while...idk one time my boy barffed on my pair of ivs black n red I cleaned them up and tossed them on eBay and my feedback was like authentic super clean thanks lmao
 
Anyone remember way back in early 2000s there was this ebayer airfob or something that would make a killing buying beat up jordans and then flipping them after restoring them?

I remember that. also remember some Nter or ebayer was buying any 13.5 Jordan he could find to pass them off as a PE.
