Didn't know he also claimed to know Kobe like that. He seriously has a story with every single legend out there, it's crazy. I personally think all those people actually know him, but obviously not to that extent. He's still a famous jeweler at the end of the day

Dont get me wrong, Ben been in the game for a minute. He is a true og, and I respect him for that. What I dont respect him for, is all the lies and addes bravado he makes up trying to add to his street cred. I know fpr a fact that a lot of OGs that dont really like dude, because he add lies to his stories and what not. Claiming this and that, when in fact it was maybe something less. Think about. His cousin is the one that owns the jewelry stuff. Ben came on board much later in the business thanks to him. As for knowing legends and this and that. Well I will leave it to other OGs who might now more to those stories.

If you were around in the 80s deejaying, emceeing, bboying, or throwing up graff... you have the right in 2017, on Twitter, to say you helped build and create hiphop culture. What's so hard to grasp? He obviously went further than that working at some very prominent labels. You think some skinny Korean guy in L.A. could make all these high profile connections by luck? Hiphop wasn't built on a select few rappers, DJ's, or Russell Simmons. The people who deserve the most credit are probably names you never hear of. Yes, Ben embellishes his experiences but that's right in line with what hiphop is about. Every single element of hiphop has a competitive factor. It's always been about being better than someone and bigging yourself up.

Exactly and that is why he does it. Most of the people on his jock are young bucks or newbs that just heard he owns a jewelry spot, that he goes connects, but the dont really know whats going on or who he really is. Is cool if he can get away with it, It makes his ego feel better :rofl:
