Air Jordan 9 “Baseball Pack”. Releasing July 15th

Thanks for posting the jersey Ced. Since you posted the new one, I've been waiting for a while to post these.

As an old head (40), I was in 11th grade when he was playing for the Barons in '94. The infancy of the internet and ZERO sneaker blogs to rely on, I had a thought to get the number for the Birmingham Barons team. Found it online and called them. They were selling Jordan 45 jerseys (I can't remember what the team wore as a brand). Authentic or replica, they were from the team store.

So I bought one black Barons pullover batting jersey, and the home white pinstriped Barons jersey. Both have the company (AIS) tag at the bottom. Never wore them. Left them hanging in the closet and never posted them online. But I figured with the 9 Pinnacle release, I'd share these with the forum. Took about a few weeks to get the if I recall but it was very cool to call them and buy them (no PayPal back then. Used CC over the phone). Only wish I bought the road grey Birmingham jersey as well. Hope you all like the pics.
WOW! Thanks for sharing!

I'll be 39 next month and can remember calling the equipment managers for various NFL teams in HS (I got their names and numbers from the 1989 NFL Record & Fact Book) to see who would be the teams' official on field suppliers, if they would be switching to twill, etc. You really had to work/be dedicated to get info back then. I was so proud when I finally tracked down a '94 Deion 49ers TBTC authentic jersey, still have and wear it.

Just arrived, quality is fantastic.
I wasn't really feeling the Scottsdale jersey so I went vintage instead,
as soon as fall rolls around...

Awesome story buddy. It really was different back then. Not having blogs and such to help us out. It's awesome that you still wear that jersey all these years later.

I feel like we grew up in such a pivotal time tech/information/media wise. We went from deciphering pager codes (remember that?) to face timing. Like we are just to right age to fully understand how crazy things have gotten and appreciate how easy they are now. The generation after us knows nothing else so they just take it for granted. Not to mention we got to watch athletes like Tyson & Jordan in their primes. Alright, I'm done being old. Sorry, everyone.

I'M NOT TOO FAR BEHIND YA IN AGE...I'M 38,LOL! YEP,TIMES WERE DEFINITELY A LOT DIFFERENT BACK THEN TRACKING DOWN THINGS YOU REALLY WANTED...BUT THAT'S ALSO WHAT MADE IT MORE REWARDING WHEN YOU WERE ABLE TO COP.... HOLLA...

These are nice as hell. I'd take either color at this point. Just don't want to pay stupid price for them. My dad bought me my first base glove back around that time and that's what these make me think of. Still hoping for resell price to maybe drop.

Been tempted to grab blacks under retail.. price been easing down on both. Saw somewhere some 9s supposed to come out next year.. all black w red trim and a reverse blk/ white.

Had no plans to cop the Black pair moving forward but about 3 weeks ago I put in a bid for $195 and it got accepted today. Definitely take them for that price.
