BGH13 & WGH20 on the same team?

If somehow this happens NT is fully responsible for this idc lol

Paul George going to ANY team in the NBA will not make that team good enough to beat the warriors. In fact no player moving to any team will

seems like hes not taking it too serious

his old post only stated heat or lakers and didnt mention warriors

thats why he said he plays for the warriors

For what it's worth, Paul George's agent Aaron Mintz is also the same agent for D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Mintz spearheads the trade that involves all three of his clients.

Say whip, normally your M.O is to go off reports and then leap to your own conclusions from there but this time you're kinda just speculating on your own agenda. What gives? [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Report: Paul George prefers to sign with Lakers as free agent in 2018

Paul George has told the Indiana Pacers that he will not re-sign with the club after next season and the All-Star forward would prefer to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers when he is a free agent 2018, The Vertical reported Sunday.

If George, 27, were to sign with the Lakers, it would mark a homecoming of sorts, as he was born in nearby Palmdale, California.

George instructed his agent to inform new Pacers president Kevin Pritchard of his plans, according to the Vertical.

Although George would constitute a significant acquisition for Los Angeles, the rebuilding Lakers do not currently intend to part with any of their young assets in a trade with the Pacers, sources told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Pretty much.

NBA just going to have to weather the storm and pray for untimely injuries.

Because two of the top 3 players are currently playing on one team...in a system that maximizes their talents to the fullest extent.

Stay pat and let your young talent flourish. It will be over by 2021 when the Nuggets ascend to the throne :pimp:

Operative word: Currently.

What goes today doesn't necessarily means it goes tomorrow.

If the Lakers do not currently intend to part with any of their young assets, then why did Magic reportedly offer Randle to the Celtics? Why did Magic say that ONLY INGRAM was untouchable?

No one thinks the Cavs have a shot at challenging GS if they somehow get PG?

For some odd reason I think they do.

This.

Which is probably I could care less about any of these Paul George trade rumors.

Yall so pressed to build a "superteam" that can take down Golden State...when whatever team he goes to will still be a mile behind Golden State

Gonna need a whole lot more than that OR a totally different style of play. Lebron can't be facilitating the offense like he does with everyone else playing spot up shooter.

Imagine Paul George standing in the corner watching Kyrie pounding the air out of the ball at the top of the key for 20 consecutive trips down the floor.

Then when he averages 15 ppg and they get scraped by GS, everyone's going to say it's his fault and Lebron still needs more help.

I swear. All these thirsty 2K scenarios .

Just accept that the next 5 finals will be won by Golden State

So you're saying that as of right now the Lakers aren't looking to trade anything valuable for pg, knowing firsthand since they have a familiar relationship with Pg's agent that he's serious about coming to LA and that there's politics to deal with it if he goes back on his word..

Far as Magic's comments on Ingram, that was clearly a motivational tactic that cuts both ways. Magic was a legendary pg not only for his flashy passes. He knows how to push people's buttons. Imagine your new boss comes in and says the dorky kid with less experience than you that didn't even really perform that well is his prized possession. That's gonna light a fire under your ***. I'm sure you've seen the shirtless pics of Julius Rambo that have been breaking the internet. If I tell you you're not untouchable, you're gonna do what you have to in order to make yourself untouchable.

Bulls GM rod thorn famously said of Michael Jordan around draft time, “He isn’t going to turn a franchise around..He’s a very good offensive player, but not an overpowering offensive player." The rest is history

If Lakers want to trade now and not risk PG-13 going to CLE or BOS, give up a couple of appealing assets and trade Russell, Randle, and Black for him. Indiana wouldn't turn this down.

I feel like that's too much.

Clarkson, Nance, #28. That's the most I would do if I were the Lakers. Valuable but expendable pieces. Russell and Randle still have too much potential to trade.

To address your first sentence, NO I'm not saying the Lakers aren't looking to trade anything "valuable" for PG. It's quite the opposite. The Lakers will in fact be willing to trade "valuable" (on the surface) pieces such as Randle and Russell in order to acquire a proven star. The report you quoted from whatever journalist you read states that the Lakers do NOT currently intend to part with young assets, correct? I'm saying the Lakers are 100% looking to part with a couple assets NOW in order to acquire a star. Which is why you made that bet with me remember? $1K says Russell is not in a Laker uniform come opening night 2017.

If you think Magic saying Ingram is the only untouchable piece is a motivational tactic directed at Russell and Randle, then what you're saying is completely shortsighted. You don't go out and claim that the rookie Ingram is "untouchable" after only seeing one year of him especially when Ingram has just as much, if not more, to prove than his counterparts Russell and Randle, who both have been on the team longer than BI. If Magic wanted to "motivate" his team, he'd have said that NOBODY is untouchable because EVERYONE has to prove their value. The fact of the matter is, Randle and Russell have underachieved because of their passive and inconsistent play and I'm positive Magic and Rob see them both as completely expendable for the right piece.

And please do not even attempt to compare Randle and Russell (or any other young Laker asset) to M.J. using a quote to imply that M.J. wasn't seen as a franchise player before he entered the NBA and because so, it could mean a similar end result for Randle or Russell. Nobody on the Lakers won a national championship let alone hit a game winner in the NCAA title game PLUS lead an Olympic Team to a Gold Medal finish PRIOR TO ENTERING THE LEAGUE.

Russell is outta here, and the closer we get to the inevitable the more it's gonna hurt for every single Lakers fan who's touted him from the start. The kid ain't the answer and he never will be.

Magic likes Clarkson a lot more than he likes Russell and Randle. Trust.

Russell and Randle are the pieces to go.

And Nance ain't goin nowhere. He's a keeper and a heck of a lot more valuable because he's the perfect complementary role player who does all of the little things and dirty work that teams need.

The Lakers offering Randle and the #2 for Boston's #1 tells you all you need to know about what they think of Randle. He was basically the throw-in to the trade, especially since we know there's not a heck of a lot of fall off from the #1 to the #2 pick in this year's draft since not one player stands out heads above the rest. In other words, Randle has become 100% expendable and more importantly it shows Magic values Nance over Randle.
