For sure.

I don't know if the Spurs could've pulled it off BUT if that game was an indication of things to come, then you would certainly believe they'd given GSW a run.

The physical series against Memphis then the mentally draining series against Houston all prepared the Spurs for GSW.  Personally I think were on a stead incline and were about to peak.

After game 1 there is no doubt GSW would've made adjustments etc. but they were rattled and that's something truly great teams/players know how to come out from. This was also the WCF, not the regular season.  Whilst I could be elaborating unnecessarily and reaching, this could indeed be a minor occurrence, but I feel this type of situation does have an effect on teams.

In my honest opinion - If TP didn't go down and Kawhi hadn't been injured this would've gone to 6, either team winning it.

i dont think that was jimmy's fault at all. that team was in a downward spiral no matter what jimmy butler did.

Man give it up. All of you.

The Spurs blew a 25 point lead in the 3rd quarter fully healthy against a Warriors team without KD in their last meeting before that in the regular season, and they did the same damn thing in that game.

I probably agree with this but at the "end of the day" it still happened on his watch, while he was the Leader, presumably after he was given the "keys to the City"

He is just going to have to shoulder some, a lot, most of the blame right along with the Front Office.

Even as unkept as Chicago was and has been the last few years, Jimmy could have done different as far as how he carried himself, from my perspective.

That whole "team up with Wade and roll the rest of the team under the bus" move he pulled probably put him on wrong side of "Leader" in my book.

It can't be erased, easily, either.

Meaning?......My point, since he has been good, team has been terrible. 

Do we hold it against Dame for not shouldering his team to victory? 

Lets pause and see them play some games before we out here saying how this trade does nothing (Vagas disagrees) This is a new team, and a new situation for Butler, it can blow up yes, but it could just as easily go well. 

I'm a Wolves fan, but very objective, I have not been impressed with Thibs thus far, am not a fan of Dieng, and feel like Rubio is not the answer. We have been terrible for 13 years! 

Would I have preferred PG? Yes, but this was the best move we could make this offseason. Riding with the kids is great, but at some point you have to make a move, didn't happen last year, and it was beginning to come to a point where if you don't show initiative KAT and Wiggins are leaving....there are more than 3 ways to skin a cat, Philly is trying one way (best of luck) I like this way more.

This. Just a few days ago a jimmy-to-Cleveland trade was supposed to make a 2018 cavs championship parade a sure thing...but now jimmy is just human again with minny?

dude is one of the best two-way 2 guards who was consistently dragging a depleted bulls roster into the playoffs. Now he gets to play with two of the most recent ROYs

As someone stated the bottom of the western conference is completely up for grabs...between portland, an aging grizz, an imploding clippers, nuggets, and okc it'd be hard to convince me that the wolves with jimmy wont be in the mix for one of those final four playoff spots

Well Jimmy to Cleveland means he'd be behind Lebby & Myrie. His responsibilities would be completely diffrrent on this team. He's a piece of the puzzle trying to fit in.

Jimmy to Minnesota means he's the captain now. He has to grt the pieces to work around him.

I know you understand this.

Jimmy is NOT the best player on Wolves roster.....
 
jimmy at the very least will have opponents game plan for him and it will allow KAT to have less pressure.
