Corey Maggette tore his Achilles in Big 3 action yesterday. This league might not make it 10 weeks.
As someone who literally tore his a month ago, I feel for him man, that sucks. The moment it came on today you could tell it was an achilles.

How Wall gonna throw my guy Otto under the bus...:smh:

he's right tho
Otto is a great young talent but he ain't no PG

While correct, if you don't get PG now you have to go in the locker room with that guy and tell him you believe in him as the leader of the team. Not a good move lmao. Should have just said he's the extra piece they need to go over the top

Funny how dudes on here get a pass for being passionate about their team but when Philly fans get excited about anything dudes get sand in their vag.

But congrats to Brogdon. Saric & Embiid will be aight

You're only allowed to talk about the same main teams/recycled topics in the NBA and NFL threads or else people get very upset.

Funny how record matters in the ROY race but not the actual MVP race.

Bro let's be real here, no rookie in NBA history could have done what Brogdon did this year. Leading his team to a .500 record and first round exit in the East averaging 10 points and 4 assists in 28 starts as a 24 year old rookie with Matthew Delledova as his only competition for playing time. They should have just handed my dude Brogdon MVP this year but I understand they had to pay Westbrook his due first.

That magical month where he averaged 11 points and 5 assists is something I'll never forget. When you're that good it's understandable that you didn't win a single Rookie of the Month award...because you deserve Rookie of the Year instead :pimp:

And on top of all these achievements, being two years older than Giannis and providing the veteran leadership that the Bucks needed....Brogdon :pimp: :pimp:

Is that what's really going on here? Or is anything that's not just blind support of Philly being met with condescension?

Embiid deserved RotY moreso than Saric did.

The thing is I'm not mad about Brogdon winning at all

I had a feeling Embiid & Saric were gonna cancel each other out.

I honestly hope Brogdon & the Bucks flourish.

Embiid himself was classy about it.

Huh? I didn't say anything about people having to blindly support them. Nobody has to do that.

I'm talking about the people in this thread that literally start whining whenever Sixer fans get excited over anything about their team, but when fans of other teams get the same way, it's not met with nearly as much resistance.

But I guess because we're Sixer fans it's different.

Should Okc try to move Adams since they likely can't move Kanter? They can't do anything with their capsituation, especially after they match on Roberson this Summer. Might as well get what they can for Russ and move on

He's putting pressure on the front office....Otto was the sacrificial lamb for the point Wall was trying to make, and if nothing happens, things might be a tad awwwkward LOL. However, this might be a kick in the butt Otto needs. If the Wizards had the same Otto we saw up until the All-Star break, there's a good chance they get past the C's and make it to the ECF. Dude fell off like crazy in the last 1/3 of the season.

Man who cares about ROY? It doesn't hold any real value and doesn't mean you will have a successful career. Also, it's never mentioned when players retire, heck even with Carmelo's one star all star jacket, he wouldn't put that ROY patch on.

I think Saric should have gotten it too but I wouldn't loose sleep over it.

Or maybe he knows Otto Max Porter is out?

The thing it, if I were PG, would I want to play with a "leader" who throws people under the bus? He could have phrased it differently. He also threw the bench under the bus after they got eliminated, it might be deservingly, but again, there are better ways to do it.
