I was looking at the trade. Brook Lopez has peaked and is on the decline with a big contract albeit expiring. Which is why I figured he was a bust as BL was all they could get and some laker fans are actually happy

If he doesn't get significantly better than he's not really an above replacement NBA starter. He could also just be a Devin Harris type. Even if he puts up stats on this bad Nets team I think you want to see real leadership and playmaking ability.

The only reason they took Lopez back was because he has an expiring contract. It certainly wasnt for him as a player. Their thought process is they can sign another max contract player next year if PG gets traded for this year, but we have tried this for years and it doesnt work.I was looking at the trade.
