boston needs to **** block the cavs and get both pg and jimmy butler

they got the most players and picks available

I doubt Paul George will stay on these EC teams who will do nothing but lose to the Cavs, which he's already been doing in Indiana.

Lakers need to trade for him before he gets traded to the Cavs though. He's not leaving a finals team. Even just the optics of that is weird. Leaving right after contending in the finals to go to the Lakers.

LeBron did it when he came back to Cleveland.

That was basically Miami Big Three 2.0 though. A new superteam forming.

If the Sixers had PG, Embiid, Fultz, Simmons and Dario along with a good bench and the most cap space in the league I don't think they'd be losing to the Cavs very long...

Hardly. Cavs were a lottery team. Kyrie was a star, but they traded their prospect for another one. There's nothing stopping the Lakers from bringing in or trading for another star once he gets on board here.

Since everyone and their grandmothers already know George has been vocal about his preference to sign with the Lakers in 2018, what the Lakers should do is wait him out so they don't lose assets in a trade for PG13.

Instead, the Lakers should trade a couple of young expendable assets to another team to acquire another star they can pair with George in 2018. Let other teams give up assets to rent George this year, wait for George to sign with LAL next year and if the Lakers already have another All-Star on the roster, it would be that much more appealing for George to sign in LA.

I really don't see Paul George moving the needle for anyone really

If Lakers want to trade now and not risk PG-13 going to CLE or BOS, give up a couple of appealing assets and trade Russell, Randle, and Black for him. Indiana wouldn't turn this down.

Remind me your most recent prediction whip? Lakers were trading up for the #1? Something like that?

I'd like to see PG on Pelicans just to see the spectacle of it, or on Cavs so PG can be deemed garbage after not deliverin' a chip

Most recent prediction? That you may quite possibly jinx yourself out of a thousand dollars.

all this talk about other teams can offer a better deal for PG...where they at?

Cleveland....Cleveland (mora voice)
They don't have picks and if theyd be as useless as acquiring guys like shump and JR

For what it's worth, Paul George's agent Aaron Mintz is also the same agent for D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Mintz spearheads the trade that involves all three of his clients.

Jimmy & G Hayward

or

Jimmy & P George

G. Hayward & Paul George is most realistic though

Front office should just do the smart thing (which it sounds like they're doing) and not trade young developing talent for somebody who's made it clear he wants to be a Laker.
