I make 45k a year working 2 hours a day Vol. Office Space in real life

im nowhere near 45k so ya that is some decent bread... id take that plus you can slack off too... sounds good to me especially if you live in a inexpensive area...

Sucks to have someone else dictate what you do with most of your waking hours. Wasting most of your day sitting around to enrich your boss/CEOs life. Most people seem to be ok with being an unimaginative cog that just toes the line sitting at a desk all day. Having to wait for the same direct deposit to hit your account every week regardless of how much work you put in sounds like more of an allowance than a job to me.

Did it 8 years and never going back. Do whatever I want and travel all the time now. Life is good [emoji]128526[/emoji]
I can't wait to quit corporate, 3 - 4 years overseas and 5 years max when I get back to the states then I'm done for good .

The better way is business and investments, that's it.

Work on your businesses and investments while you have a 9-5 . Once you have a stable emergency fund, savings, and your outside income surpasses your work income you can quit.

Damn two hours and 45K a year. What am i doing wrong?

I work at a drug rehab and homeless shelter. 30K a year.

Thread needs a poll of some kind.

I have a HS diploma and even with my extensive work history its still hard to find a job that pays good. I dont even job hop ive been at this company for the last 7 yrs and im in my 20's. No desk job tho, i get to move around and duck off when i want too.

I had this type of gig for a little over a year. I lived at home with my parents, I was good. I was happy when I was not working but bored and depressed the little time I was at work. I spent time working on my resume, but mostly just surfing the web. I really wish I did something more creative like start a website or learn something

I am not employed now. I am looking to land a chill job again I need it. I was working hard too much at the po and it's not the life for me.

If PO you mean USPS I know exactly what you mean. What a horrible job and time that was in my life.

Thank you for what you do. Your work goes unnoticed by most.

Unfortunately, our society puts more stock in material and wealth than they do actual people.

You're doing nothing wrong. Human service workers are severely and unjustly underpaid. Been there, done that.

Sitting at almost 70k for the year gross pay and benefits.

I BS a lot at work. Even with my supervisors.

And I can get so much PTO working OT I've been on vacation 3 times this year without burning vacation time.

Frfr I need one of these lax type jobs. Truckin aint cuttin it nomore. Sleep driving with my eyes open is one of the most wildest feelings. Half the time i dont even remember how i got to where i am or the last 10 miles ive driven.
Wait till you get in an accident and the investigators find this post. The judgement in the civil case will have you paying off the victims' fam for the rest of your life.

I'm from here too. Worked with at-risk youth at DYS for several years. Grueling and emotional work. 24/7 schedule, thankless, and you get paid less than a bartender or waiter

For point of reference I have been at work since 7:30 AM and this is the first time I've even touched my cell phone.
