Vic Mensa wanted to slap DJ Akademiks

I saw the interview. I'm just curious, what does he rap about? If it's the usual murder music then he has no credibility in my eyes been bc he has a helping hand in promoting and celebrating this behavior.

Look at him.

No he doesn't rap about the usual murder music.

Vic Mensa is a poser who only got south side tatted years after he blew up. His dreads are probably extensions. Look up pics when he first got a deal. Dude looked like a mixed race doug. He ain't chiraq certified. Would get knocked out barefoot like xxxxtentacuon with that tough talk.

That is all.

Vic couldn't even look him in the eyes while he was saying all that ****...I think he's wearing eyeliner too...I gotta rock with Akademiks on this one.

this **** corny.

vic is from one of the heaviest patrolled areas of chicago.

akademiks gave everyone in chicago exposure, even though he did exploit them for his monetary growth.

thats part of media though and you sorta have to chalk it up to the game.

all these dudes beefin infront of cameras is beyond lame.

what happend to the era where you actually had to show up if you offered someone a ticket to the knuckle exchange show?

now you put paws on someone and theyre quick call the cops.

clowns.

Man is it me or this dude Vic Mensa a bit zezty..

Not that it's wrong...but dude reminded me of shanaenae from Martin

Akademiks messed up by getting a show with complex. When has anybody gone to complex for a sound opinion on music. And the staff and Vic clearly set him up.

Yeah War on Chiraq is satire and VIc has a right to be tight but thats the industry so get over it.

I'm a fan of Vic's music, but he does kinda come off as a poser to me. He had that Down on Your Luck song a few years ago then disappeared for a min then came back all tatted with braids and rockin leather talkin bout how he encourages people in the hood to clap back a cops. F outta here woth that b s man :smh:

Yeah I rather have the Down on Your Luck Vic and the pre deal Vic. He's completely different now and I stopped checking for his music

He does seem on the zesty side. Especially when he said he wanted to slap dude in his face. I mean slap instead of punch and then the way he said it too

What side of O block is he from....

I first heard Vic Mensa on MTV Jams around 2013 but it was that "Orange Soda" video, mad corny. Rarely heard his name other than singing on Wolves for the SNL version

His pops is Ghanaian too, I know he doesn't approve of that tat on his neck :smh:
