Vic Mensa wanted to slap DJ Akademiks

No Vic slander. He gave us this jawn. And he reppin

Down on my luck gotta be one of the best videos to drop the past few years :pimp:
Wow that kinda bumps. There was actually potential there now he just seems like a fake poser. Guess you gotta ride the waves that are there. But having seen that Vid, idk how Akademks just couldn't laugh in his face when he started his rant.

Vic out here tryna act tough on someone that he knows damn well won't get gully.
Wish he woulda called Budden's unstable *** out his name like that. Prolly woulda got his shoulders clapped.

DJ Ak needed to get checked for some (most) of the sxxt that he pulls. I don't really look at the messenger, I just listen to the message, and the message was real.

What did ak say that was so controversial? I'm almost certain I'll agree with it since most people are mad at it lol. Whenever someone tries to hold the black community accountable, they get called uncle Tom, ****, sellout etc. And cats get upset,so I'm guessing it's something along those lines .

He wasn't holding anyone accountable for anything. He was just bossip/shaderoom in audible format for things going on in the Drill scene. "This week on Chiraq, some ***** died etc etc".

Ak was profiting off of Chicago fxxxery without actually promoting it. I see nothing wrong with it as he was staying in his lane. Vic Mensa should stay in his and drop the facade.

i thought ak was actually from chicago for the longest

but he would say a lot of out of pocket stuff and then circle back like "yall gotta do better than this, you cant be in that life anymore since u a rapper now" just to clean it up

like the mfs who instigate a fight and then be like "all over 20 dollas tho smh"

Wow never knew thats what akademiks looked like. Looks like he wilds out at buffets and talks with his mouth full.

If you can sit and watch those War in Chiraq and NOT find why someone from Chicago would have a problem with him...I really don't know what to say.

Son was doing play by play satirical reels of REAL LIFE murders.

"He don't want no smoke with the Chiraq grim reaper....didn't he see what happened to the last guy?"

Of course he's within his right to "stay in his lane". He can do whatever he wants to do...but there will be consequences. Even Charlemagne told him that.

Vid that had Vic is having a stink about.
hypothetically, if i was born in chicago and was friends with Tray and grew up with him, and watched/listened to this video... I'd feel some type of way too. I thought Vic was exaggerating about Akademiks' voice- but the voice Ak uses in this vid actually does piss me off as he's talking about the unfortunate situation.. it almost sounds like he's mocking because it's not his real voice.

i can understand why Vic's mad.

Put yourselves in the situation of if your homie died and someone like Akademiks speaks on your dead homie, or anyone who didn't know your boy and starts speaking on his name

Also keep in mind...

Vic Mensa has called out mass media for sensationalizing the situation in Chicago as well. He called out Vice out in an actual video for Vice.

So it's not like he waited until he saw Akademiks to speak on this issue.
