'My sounds isn’t right’: DJ Khaled apparently gets booed off stage and claims that ‘they’ tried to sabotage him

It looks like everyone’s favorite hit maker was booed off stage yesterday at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, but DJ Khaled claimed that they ‘sabotaged’ his set with technical glitches.

Fans allegedly got angry when he showed up late to his set and according to videos and reports from the festival he was booed off stage when trying to get his set back on track.

Watch as the 41-year-old tries to encourage the crowd to chant his name during the awkward breaks between songs. Instead, many boo him.

Taking to his Instagram in two different posts the Wild Thoughts producer, claimed he was ‘sabotaged’ in the lengthy post reading: ‘They cut my time short and they had me back stage for a hour and half and the sound kept breaking

‘Then I heard my fans and I said I’m go out even if the sound cuts off and even if they cut my time short.

‘I’m here for my fans even if the sound man and promoter don’t have there stuff together I forgive them’

In another posts, the Snapchat King, is seen talking to a member of his crew before the intro of California Love by Tupac and Dr Dre, insisting that they tried to cut his ‘****’.

The video is accompanied with another lengthy and similar caption that reads: ‘I still stood on stage wit no sound and when they got the sound to work they want cut my set short but I still rep for my people anyone else would walk off stage’

Masked DJ, deadmaus5 (pronounced ‘deadmouse’), saw the hilarity of the situation and took to Twitter to announce that one day, he too, may use the line as well.

Quoting DJ Khaled he wrote: ”they sabotaged my set! my sound isnt right.”- I’m saving this one for later (sic)’.

EDC is wack. I was watching bits and pieces of it on the YouTube stream... didn't hear any house or techno. Sounded like **** you would hear on the radio.

Khaled is one wack mf anyway though. Not sure how he is a DJ. I guess it sums up where hiphop and edm have gone. Young people have no expectations anymore.

I work at a concert venue and this literally always happens, with rappers...

They come on late, then have to get off early because of city curfews/other things and then they blame it on production. None of them own up to anything, I've seen this happen so many times. Rappers are literally scum when it comes to performing, ALL of them come on late, none are ever on time.

Lol unlucky for Khaled that this festival ends at 5 am, he has no excuses for being late in his time slot.

Out of curiosity, I went to a free Khaled "concert" last year when there were a bunch of Super Bowl events going on. My friend and I were probably 2 out 5 adults in a crowd of ~300 high schoolers, something which pissed me off right from the beginning

All he was doing was playing popular Cali tracks (California Luv, Tell Me When To Go, etc.) and pausing them every 30 seconds to shout some nonsense motivational speeches :lol:

"STAY IN SCHOOL! GET GOOD GRADES! THEY DONT WANT YOU TO GET GOOD GRADES!! YOU SMART!!! I APPRECIATE THAT!!"

At first my friend and I were like "fine, this place is crawling with annoying kids, but at least we can just listen to some good music instead of being at work" Dude really made every 3 minute song last 10-15 mins each though. It was the worst :rofl:

Chorus for a hit song starts? "HOLD UP HOLD UP HOLD UP...I GOTTA TELL YA'LL SOMETHING REAL IMPORTANT!!!"

We stuck around because it was so obnoxious and stupid that it ended up being somewhat entertaining (which describes everything Khaled has ever done) :lol:
