BDW no one actually listens to death metal lyrics, most of it is inaudible but its supposed to set the mood, with a few exceptions its just background noise. 



With that being said the subject matter in the lyrics is supposed to be social commentary....not all death metal is about diseboweling prostitutes some of it has to do with the cosmos, politics, etc.

KFC original recipe's skin is more flavorful than Popeyes skin..but it is also soggy as hell. I hate soggy fried food, defeats the purpose of eating fried food

Different genres have different bands with different kinds of guitar work that sound great for the genre. Def some "indie" directed bands out there with heavy guitar work.

I prefer slow technical to high speed technical.

Maggotbrain title track and a bunch of random Hendrix **** > most if not all of the metal I've ever heard though

Even as a guitarist, I feel the Blues 10x more than I feel most jazz. That’s not a dig at jazz.. jazz guitarists are incredibly talented.. but the Blues IMO is a different beast of connection to the music and your instrument.
