Why do Black people like Hennessy?

Bruh...when I was in school I only drunk paul...once I got a job I could spend a lil bit more and get cognac

There is absolutely no similarities between brandy and cognac...u either ain't drank enough or you just on some bull

Cognac is a type of Brandy

Cognac is a type of Brandy

Yep.

Brandy in general means any kind of distilled spirit, made from fermented fruit juice. The fruit in question is often grapes, but there are a number of Brandies based on apples, pears and other sweet fruits. So yes, being produced by distilling wine, Cognac is a type of Brandy, only a very specific one.

Been on a nice sober streak and I can't agree more.

Stopping the trees was hard at first but my normal appetite came back and it's been cake ever since.

Got a side job where they do random testing and I have no interest in starting up again

 i def relate to the appetite.

I smoked once after i quit, just to see if i was really serious about quitting or not. I hit the blunt a couple times and it was a creeper high ... Once i was ripped i kept asking myself "why did i enjoy this again?". It was wack to me from then on, knew after that it really wasnt my thing anymore.

I only sip Jack n Coke. Gran Marnier is cool too. Circoc is for thots.

The problem with Cognac is that the really worth while bottles cost thousands of dollars since celebrities, Russian Oligarchs, rich kids and various hype beast have inflated the price.

Armagnac is where it is at. It's the rustic cousin of Cognac. It is so much more intense and variegated than Cognac and a the higher price points, you get the same level of smoothness for a tenth the price. A $500 bottle of Armagnac is about as aged and smooth as a $5,000 of Cognac.

When I first bought it several years ago it seemed like nobody I knew had heard of it here. I had to order it online because I couldn't find it in any liquor stores.

Earlier this week I was at a local restaurant in my small rural town and even they had bottles of Cîroc on the shelf. Didn't think I'd see that at a local restaurant any time soon

Whatever Diddy is doing as a brand ambassador, it sure seems to be paying off for the brand. Went from having to order it online from France to having a regular place in retail and many bars/clubs now.

take off the gown n put down the gavel uncle phil.
Take it from someone whose dad died from alcoholism at 55 years old, those Xans aren't any better if you're a regular user. Arguably significantly worse.

Alcohol and Xanax (Alprazolam is the substance, Xanax is the brand name) share a pretty unique effect in that their withdrawal effects can both include death. You'd have to be very addicted in either case, less so with Xanax than alcohol, but it does happen. Doctors (should) always advise patients with Xanax prescriptions/addictions to never suddenly quit or drastically reduce the amout of Xanax as the withdrawal from sudden change in dosage can cause seizures and in severe cases the withdrawal can be fatal. Those whose body has become physically addicted to Xanax should always consult a doctor to create a taper-down schedule for them. Cold turkey is often recommended for various sorts of addictions but in the case of Xanax it's quite dangerous to do so.

Alcohol is by all means bad for you to some degree, even in moderation, as you are drinking a toxin at the end of the day but it's not nearly as addictive or destructive as Xanax can be in the short term. Occasional alcohol use isn't gonna turn you into an alcoholic any time soon. Occasional Xanax use still results in the build up of tolerance and is significantly more physically addictive than alcohol. If your tolerance goes up, you'll need more to achieve the same effect. And that's a slippery slope.

Good for you that you found something you like but you could be a few years late on this one.
Ciroc is on a steep decline in the states.
New Amsterdam Vodka got all up in their lane and took their place in liquor stores for a fraction of the price.

Diddy now moved on to pushing that DeLeon tequila.

Might be in decline in the US but it seems to be on its way up over here on the other side of the pond. I've always thought it was strange how those years ago it was all over the US and it was nowhere to be found over here besides ordering it online from France, its country of origin. Belgium is right next to them so I suppose they just couldn't really find a market here at that time. Its pricepoint is also a bonus. Significantly lower than Grey Goose (overpriced and definitely not worth it imo), which generally still reigns supreme here in terms of "premium" vodka. 1L of Peach Cîroc costs a couple euros more than 70cl of standard Grey Goose for example.

Grey Goose is so overrated. The only high end vodka worth that price is kettle one and belvedere imo.
Kettle One is easily the best out of those 3 but I'm not particularly fond of any of them. Kettle One > Belvedere >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Grey Goose
