I disgust me how little respect this man gets. First of he is the TOUGHEST player in the league. There is always something wrong with him, such as right now abroken finger, but he plays through almost anything.

Second is how fearless he is, dude will drive and mix it up with anyone.

The third thing is relevant to why he is so tough and why there will no one ever like him again. DUDE IS 5.10 165 POUNDS!!! I dont think people underrstandthat small that is compared to nba players. It would be like the average person playing a game and a 4.11 dude dominating. He straight dominates game whilegetting thrown around and giving up sometimes a foot and a 100 pounds.

Im not even that big of a fan of his he just needs more respect. All his shots are fade away's as well due to him being so small. I think he is the mostSKILLED player in the league. To me he is top 25 player of all time.

How do you figure he doesn't get enough respect?

And what about him qualifies him as most skilled?

he definitely got a lot of respect back then...he was my favorite player during the late 90s.

^^ Look at the dudes numbers. He is 165 pounds, 5 foot 10. You know how hard it is and how creative he has to be to get his. Name a player under 6 feet to putup numbers like that. Issah maybe? and he was bigger. Evershot he takes is a fade.

What more do you think he deserves?

Tiny Archibald.

The problem with AI is that he doesn't know when to pick his spots. He never had a post presence to which he had to defer the ball to when he was comingup.

The day AI realizes that the offense should go through Carmelo first, and focus on penetrating and dishing instead of penetrating and taking a ridiculous shot.

It's not hate on AI because he's one of my favorite players, but he's gotta reel it in and stop concentrating on scoring.

I got a ton of respect for AI but before his time and him establishing himself as being the toughest little man in the NBA there was Isaih Thomas.Just look atwhat he did in game 6 of the 1988 finals on a severley sprained ankle.A frickin NBA Finals record on a sprained ankle.

So because he's small, he should be credited more than commonly-sized NBA players who are more "skilled" than him? No.

Have you ever seen the Nuggets play since A.I. came?? I admit he did take milions of stupid shots early in his career in Philly but now??? Are youserious?? he penetrates at will and a lot of times makes a sweet dime to Kenyon martin or camby for an easy throwdown...and he does run the offense throughcarmelo first

Allen Iverson was disrespected for things not related to basketball. Anyone with half a brain respects him a ton for his game.

Yes I have watched the Nuggets play. In fact I watched the game tonight. What did I see? AI dominating the ball. You're going to sit there and say thatAI doesn't still force the issue on offense? Yes, his shot selection has gotten WAY better, but that's not his role for this team. He's supposed totake the back seat to Melo but it's 1 and 1a.
Nevermind

He's a famous superstar, an 11 times allstar, went to the finals, got his own sneaker line, and is super rich. What else do you want ? He's great butcome on now. You can only go so far in the NBA when you're 5'10. I think he deserved all that he can get already.

I think what he's referring to is that AI gets little to no shine anymore since he's come to Denver. You never hear his name among the Kobe's,LeBron's, CP3's, etc.

You will never find someone so small put up the numbers and get the awards that he as gotten. Plus fight through injuries like he does. GOAT small guard of alltime

He's a great player but I can't say he's a winner. He comes off as the type of guy that's more concerned with partying or hitting up theclub than winning games. He's a great talent, he'll put up his 30 and 7 but I don't think you could ever build a championship team around him. He's been on more mediocure teams than good teams in his career.
