well, Derrick Rose's high school team (Simeon) and aau team (Meanstreets) were both sponsored by Nike when he played for them. i hope he signs with Nike,that would be a good pickup.

When looking where a kid will sign his initial shoe contract always look at their AAU team. More often than not they tend to sign with those they got to themback in high school.

That's exactly my point. This kid getting a possible contract for a shoe before he steps for on a NBA court is ridiculous to me and un-earned. I stillbelieve Lebron didn't deserve his Nike endorsement, unfortunately that just set precedent for these kids who are coming out of college and getting andalmost expecting some kind of endorsement before proving themselves on the court.

Hey it threw all of us a curveball. With our Brand Manager being firedlast week, there has been alot of things in flux so I can admit, I stunk up the joint on that call. But at least you guys will be getting your QS andMcFly's still. Unless those are cancelled for release and show up on ebay. I doubt at 10K pairs that will happen.

adidas has the inside track. My guess is adidas. Derrick Rose signed up with Wasserman Media Group. His agent will be BJ Armstrong. Most of the WMG clientshave contracts with adidas.

Peep this a few weeks ago my boys here in LA say he was at NTLA getting over a grand off free stuff at Niketown but when someone talked to one of his boys theysaid he was closer to signing with Adi. So who knows. Adi equip is whack. He may not get a Nike sig right away but the tech is bar none the best. Peace
