I bought a pair of the black ones a few weeks ago and they're in heavy rotation. I might have to pick up another pair.
 
Ive been wearin my black patents around 4 times a week for the last 7 months....they're beat as hell...gonna grab another in a coulple weeks
 
The John Varvatos Jack Purcells are nice but are too expensive when you can get a regular JP's for a lot cheaper.

I have the first two in the pic for almost a year now. I love them and pretty much wears them on a daily basis. I hate it because it goes with almost anythingthat I don't get a chance to wear any other sneakers I have.
 
Very comfortable. I picked and wore my first pair of JC's yesterday and I'll be looking for more indeed.

Only $14.99 for the patchwork-esque editions.
 
Man i actually want a pair of Jacks bad ever since i have been seeing them in the WDYWT I been wanting a pair.... guess i will have to settle for my vansprison issues for now 70s bucks is alot for a pair of converse's to me

Nah, regular Jack Purcells are pretty cheap, usually $55-$60 and I usually get them at Footlocker with the F&F sale. That comes to about $40-$45,not bad at all. When the next F&F comes around, I'll be getting the leather low or high tops. Converse also makes leather high top with straps, theylook quite nice.
 
jack purcells are number one in my book! i have the black patent ones and they get much wear from me. the ladies often enjoy them too.
 
Jack Purcell's are classic. I prefer the look over Chuck Taylors. I'ma a sucka' for a smiley face.
I still gotta unds those patent joints one day.

I've always preferred the chucks.

I might get some JP's sometime. But not anytime soon, unless I find 'em for extra cheap.
 
Between this post and Sneakermane makin them look so nice in the WDYWT post the other day, I had to cop some today.

I wish I did. I remember seeing something about them a while ago and then either I forgot or just never really heard anything else.

I haven't had a pair of Jack Purcells since early HS and I can't lie, half of the reason I got them was because Kurt Cobain wore them.

I do remember the pair I had was kinda uncomfortable though.
 
These are actually a lot mroe comfortable than regular chucks because the JP has a thicker insole.
 
does any1 have real close up pics of the black ones and the black/white

i want to see in person b4 i order
