Average age of Jordan Collector?

Dang! I'm 25, and now I DO feel like a Dinosaur. Funny thing is, now that I've got all my J's on display in my apt, I feel less reason to wearthem. I always said-- "Man, I only rock my J's so I can look at 'em...Once they're on display, I doubt I'll wear them as much." Loand behold, I'm really getting away from them more and more. I don't know if it's more age-related, or more so the fact that wearing a pair ofJ's is a job for me: Walking slowly, not over bending my feet, cleaning after every wear, etc.etc. Whatever the case....You cats ARE young! To the postoriginator, I think I feel ya! J's might NOT be the best look after a certain age.

been collecting since cool grey 11's came out.
now up to 26 pairs (little compared to most^^)
 
29- I have been collecting AJ's since 1998. But, when I got married in 2002, I stopped and I actually lost a good portion of my collection. I currentlyhave 13 pairs, not counting the CDP's. I have 3 CDP's.

bout 2 be 26 in July and this will be my last year buying them.... I will continue to collect old pairs off ebay after that but 08 is my last....
 
I'm 22 but I been rockin' J's all my life. Looking thru some old family pics, theres me madd young wearing J's. I WISH I still had some of thesneaks that I was rockin as a kid. I either still got them and they are tore the HELL up. Or my pops threw 'em away a long time ago. I bet we all thinklike that tho. If only I was aware back then..

I am 22 and always like sneakers since i was a lil kid. My uncle bought me my first pair of Jays when i was like 11 or 12 for basketball. And i would say ihave been collecting since i was 16 or so.
 
man I wish I was rocking js when I was a kid like some of the young cats in here. The only js I was rockin was xj-900s from payless! But as soon as I couldafford my on js...I bought them.I remebered I spent my first check on js and a fit. That was when I was 16 now I'm 27 and my js have been going strongsince then. Kinda stop a little bit but now I'm on em again!

Yo man, I feel ya. It gets tiring after awhile. I buy Js to rock, not stock. After they get old, I just get rid of them.....but dang, I didn't know I couldsell a pair of BEAT OG Js on Ebay and make money for something I would dump. Oh well.

Age: Old enough to know: BDP, Slick Rick, Public Enemy (yes FlavOR Flav was more than just a reality TV buffoon), Run DMC when they did collab songs withAerosmith, 3rd Bass, Beastie Boys, Rakim, Biz, ect...basically REAL HIP HOP, British Knights (not England-related), Dee Brown and his fly pumps, ElectricBoogaloo, those African medallion pendants, In Living Color, Living Colour the band, fun times when Fresh Prince was a rapper with DJ Jazzy Jeff, FreddyKreuger, Michael Meyers OG (not the remake movie by Rob Zombie), fades, high tops, "High Top" in "Colors", OG Jordans made with qualitymaterials, Bordeaux's were ugly then and still are, I should have kept my basketball cards of 2nd year MJ when Fleer, Topps, and Upper Deck was aroundtogether, and to know fresh was a cool word then and still is, oddly enough.........the list goes on.

Collection: I don't "collect" per se, but there are too many to go into storage closets to actually count them.....sounds like work
 
20 and i started about 5 years ago.... and now i have at least 70 pairs of kicksm (not all Jordans tho, i also collect sb's and AF1's looking intogetting more into the sb line tho)

I know many kids my age and younger have no respect for OGs

or Jordan and the BULLS, and what they did. I do my homework

though...
 
IM 15 STARTED ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO I HAVE 11 PAIRS AND FOR MY ITS MORE ABOUT QUALITY THAN QUAINTITY
 
I was rocking jordans when i was a baby. the first pair i remember having was the og powder blue ix. Im now 17 and i wouldnt say im a Jordan collector but ihave been doin it since the military iv came out. Im now up to 29 pairs.

I've been wearing J's since the beginning. Collecting since 1991 (meaning, that was the first year I ever bought J's and decided to keep them DS).

Currently 100+ pairs.
 
im 21 been collecting fro about 5 years. Have around 150 Jordans

My Dads 55 and has been collecting for years has around 250+ Jordans and still rocks some of them to this day!!!! He loves them
