I was there. Wasn't what I hoped it would be but was a few hundred people. I'm sure the great weather didn't help with the attendance. Had a good time either way, met a few new people

Jordan is too damn proud to take notes. He'll continue to pump out the shxt quality products and people will inch away slowly one by one, just as you and I have done
 
Its such a shame, I loved having the shoes I had as kid. I want to buy them, I do, but they're such crap compared to what the other brands have given at a cheaper price point. Plus I dont have to give my 1st born trying to get a pair. I shouldnt be able to import WoWs easier and cheaper then waking up on a saturday, clicking on NDC and grabbing a pair. $190 for 0 tech and that quality, there's 0 reason for it.
 
No, there's one reason for it. They sell. Period. It will only last so long tho. Maybe 5 more years maybe 20. But one day enough will be enough
 
JB knows exactly what they're doing. I'm not going to say I like it, but business wise they hit their "sweet spot" these last few years. Hate to see shoes like the white/infrared AJ6 and Powder Blue AJ10 cheapened but it's just the way it is right now. Personally, I thought the bubble would have burst a year or two ago but it just isn't happening. I get why you guys like non Nike shoes like the wow's, asics, some reeboks etc. but they're definitely not for me... just not my style.

I slowed down 100% and even sold off a good amount of my kicks to help fund our Refresh PGH store but I've never been the type to say I'm moving away or done with Nike/JB because there are always some kicks that you have a soft spot for. When they dangle Nike Air OG 1 colorways and undoubtedly Nike Air dropping on other 3-6 models in the future how could you resist? I do hope they hit the reset button and go back to the semi-quality they had in the early-mid 2000s but I just can't see it happening. They're making too much money to care.

I'm not passionate at all about the majority of JB releases (or any shoes in general anymore) and have only grabbed a few 1s, fear 5s and stealth foams this past year or two but I've seen too many people say they're done with JB only to backtrack for me to BS myself like that. In my opinion just pass on all the shoes you see as BS and grab a few select pairs, it doesn't have to be all or nothing.
