Yall heard the news by now ...

Do you think this is probably just a soccer casual shoe

that wasn't specifically for RF ?!

I just can't connect the dot between these tiempos to Fed...

Good thing they aren't that beautiful,

but Fed deserves better if it really was meant for the GOAT

Idk some weird colorways. Plus they don't release the colors we want such as us open white with lava and the cinci blue with fuschia ones.

Weird looking if you ask me
Someone has a pair up on eBay for $1299

I'm not sure there is one... seems like it's just a limited NikeLab shoe that Nike's giving to their athletes...

Mario Gotze also got his pair, so for sure it's not just for Nike Tennis' athletes...

Wow, great find... but WTH!   That's something different!  Very "football-bootish"!

I saw somewhere that there. Will be new colorways releasing 2-17 on tw. Lunars to match the blue outfit

Do they light up for $220? Lol
I'll maybe try on discount if they make it

^Thanks for posting -- definitely something I'd love to try.  Don't know yet if willing to shell out the cash

Look you have to keep in mind that for the two previous seasons prior to the Vapor 9, Nike tennis released comparatively unsuccessful shoes for Roger. The Vapor 7 Lunarlie and the Vapor 8 weren't even worn by Roger and everybody complained about it. "He's still wearing the Vapor 6, it's a con!", etc. So in a way Nike actually listened to the consumer. They brought in Tinker and got Roger to co-design a shoe that he would actually wear to replace the Vapor 6. Roger doesn't want a new shoe every season, he doesn't actually like change when it comes to footwear.
The Vapor 9 was a big success (although I can still recall people complaining about the way it looked when it first dropped). Roger wore it (albeit a custom version) and the people were finally happy.
But unfortunately there's always somebody complaining. The public wants a shoe that Roger wears... or do they? Roger continues wearing the 9 and then the tweaked 9.5, as opposed to a Vapor 10, 11 and 12 that would have everybody complaining again and probably be unsuccessful.

I don't think the people at Nike Tennis are stupid. No matter what they do there will always be people that are never happy.

Kinda the same situation with Nola and his Barricade 7s that he has worn for what seems like forever. Although there have been different versions since then, including some newer models with boost midsoles, he still is sticking with the 7s for now.
