2024 NBA Draft Thread - the hawks might be on the clock

Can’t say I’m surprised. Didn’t want Jabari at all. Hoping his work ethic is as good as reports say.

If Chet wasn’t 7’ he would look like a building maintenance or elevator repair specialist.

I think this is prob close to his floor outcome.
and thats pretty good.

but the whole not being able to dribble seems problematic
It feels close to his most likely outcome to me. And that’s still a potentially really valuable guy assuming health.

The gaps in his game just feel so hard to fix to me.

i dunno for that to happen he'd basically have to not improve at anything

given that he's one of the youngest guys in this draft
i think that's pretty unlikely.

Jabari shooting was rough but he rebounded well and had 4 steal and 3 blocks. He played very good defense.

Tari is a menace on both ends. I’m intrigued by Hudgins and wanted him to play more.

Jabari's so stiff and mechanical, it doesn't look like he'll have the fluidity to be a go to guy on an offense, luckily it seems like he checks every other box and has shooter's confidence. If he can develop an off ball game that even remotely resembles Klay's, he looks like he would be an elite second option.

If Sengun really is HIM he should really unlock Jabari
They’ll have to scratch each other’s back because Jabari will have his work cut out for him helping cover Sengun defensively.
