Good Used Car Warranty

Buying a used Car within the next week. Looking for a Cadillac CTS 05-07
Already got Pre Approved by my credit Union, they offered me their warranty, 5years/50,000 $1,600 which seems very high but basically covers everything

Some people tell me don't get a warranty, they only want your money, and try to not cover anything. Others say they are a must.

What is NT opinions on Used Car Warranties and, anybody know any good ones?
