Heading to Seattle & Portland- Any suggestions where to go?

i'm going to be visiting the pacific northwest in a couple days. i'll be in seattle for a couple of days but driving to portland to catch theblazers/warriors game. (hopefully no snow)

i will be flying into seattle- any suggestions/recommendations on where to hit up? stores, restaurants, city attractions (ex. space needle), bars, clubs, orany crackin spots. Should I hit up udubb? same thing for portland. i met a couple dudes from Portland last week and they told me to hit up the pearl district?they also told me to get hammered at some bars around the rose garden (forgot where) and take the train to the game.
