nope and if you want to believe that thats cool. the height and shape will never be the same. im buying them anyways because like i said nike is never going to go back to the true height and shape because low top silhouettes and bulky toe boxes are more popular in these times. not just on these but every jordan retro and nike retro.

That may very well be true, but the pics above don't support that premise....wing height is damn near identical, and the upper collar looks within millimeters. I have no horse in this game.....Just an objective observation.

something i noticed. the space in between the nike air and midsole is longer than the og. also the midsole on the og was thicker on the back. i wonder if they are both the same size

Nah the height is basically identical in those pics above. The toe box looks pretty different top down but overall these as close as we gonna get.

I wouldn’t call the 2024 militaries low tops . It’s easy to throw that term around when it should be said for the IVs from 2004-2012. And possibly for the 2016 white cements.

Just keep in mind the original 80s-90s Air Jordans were actual basketball sneakers specified for the sport. Same with some other Nikes like foamposites or air trainers. It’s wishful thinking Nike can remake the retros to be like the originals but never say never, I guess. Let them keep making them better, or don’t buy them, simple as that.
