Dudes obviously played well that game. Everybody acting like they are the second coming or something. They will not play like that again in this series.

Yea they probably won't and nobody expects them to play that well again...

They already pretty much won us a game.

@ P.Pierce sucker punching the ref

With that said, Lakers still have the upper hand in this series.  Even if the Celtics win Game 5, which won't happen, we still head home to take Game 6 & 7.

Trust that Nate can and will play like that again. I can't say much for Davis, but Nate will bring energy and score some if given the opportunity.

as expected we lose game 4 setting up the stage for a pivotal game 5 with a tied series...we lost in the 4th by the celts bench...we played lazy and baby, nate took advantage

welp on to game 5

Celtics wanted it more. Good job. They couldn't lose that one.

On to Game 5. Boston can't lose this one either.

Going back to LA down 3-2.

Nice contradiction.

As a Boston fan, i'm really happy with the performance yesterday. Despite this, Lakers in 6 or 7.. I can't see the Celtics winning at the Staples Center again.

I love how y'all love to blame the refs for everything.

So its the refs fault your bench is trash? Its the refs fault Big Baby was scoring at will?

hilarious

All I have to say is if Bynum is not able to play Lakers are going to lose this series, plain and simple. Odom does not match up well against the Celtics and it's plain to see when Bynum is in he does so much for us on the defensive end. Another thing to note is is they keep hitting Fisher with these fouls we are basically playing without our starting PG.

The refs did not lose this game the Lakers lost it. I will say this though, they do a poor job of catching Ray on his push offs, this could be due to Fishers flopping on other plays, not sure. The play where they called KG for the fake 3 seconds was a make up call for not calling Ray for the foul on the previous Fisher shot.

To me I believe it all hinges on whether or not Bynum can go. If not expect the Celtics to continue to be able to pound the ball inside with Baby.

I will also say this, I hate the Celtics so much but after watching the post-game (god I can't believe I am saying this), I can't hate Baby. I don't know why but he is funny to me and he is just what his name implies, a big baby.

I still say Lakers in 6 but only if Bynum plays at least one more game more than 25 minutes.

Nobody to blame but ourselves, we had ample opportunity to put a stranglehold on this series but didn't finish well at all. We were POUNDED on the boards, the bigs just looked lazy going after rebounds (*ahem LO *ahem). Matador defense in the 4th quarter (LO, again) just escorting people to the basket. Offensively, our execution was terrible as well.

But even after all that we had chances to win this game, the Celtics bench just worked harder than us and wanted it more in the 4th quarter. They deserved to win this game. This is pretty much what I expected though from the get go of this series, these teams are so evenly matched and every game has pretty much been up for grabs with 5 minutes left in the 4th; the Celtics executed better down the stretch twice and so did we.

Bottomline, if Drew can't give us at least 20 minutes out there in Game 5 and the rest of this series, we could be in trouble. We all see that Lamar wants no parts of the physicality inside as he was getting destroyed by Baby and getting punked by that clown KG getting down on all fours.

I don't know who will win Game 5 b/c "momentum" seems to have no carryover effect in this series so far, but I can almost guarantee it's going 7 regardless of who wins on Sunday, should be another good game though.

he's been playing pretty bad in the fourth

- dead serious.

- playing bad in the fourth or not, im talking about his whole game in general. it just took this years playoffs to get me to see it.

- its rare to see an NBA player with such a fine tuned shot. the only players other than Kobe ive seen with it are Jordan and Garnett (his Minny days). its too bad Kobe is just now developing it. Jordan got it right around his 3rd championship (i think). i took him a litle bit to get it back and once he did it was 4,5,6.......

- truth be told, ive never really been into the whole who's better talk. but it took this game to get me to declare it, at least for the current players. ive always been more into who's game 'I' liked better.

That's what I'm saying. People like to ignore or flat out not admit that Nate is legitmate scorer in the NBA. I'd go as far to say given the guidance and self control he'd be in the same lane as Iverson. Most importantly, he's a very good jump shooter, only downfall is that he's a streaker player but that wouldn't be the case if he got more playing time. If Doc had let Nate play more regular season and made him the official backup pg it'd be pretty obvious that the Lakers do not have an answer for him. They already stretching their defensive players thin shutting down Paul and Ray and trying to prevent Rondo from going MVP status on them.

getting away from the new york losing attitude has helped him a lot. no doubt he can play, he is more under control. wouldn't say he would be an iverson type player, but a ben gordon type, a guy that can score and bring energy off the bench.

this series just got good...again, lol

If Phil was to lose his dominating 47-0 record when winning game 1 in series to the Celtics. would anyone consider that feat bigger than the Giants over Patriots? just curious

Damn.. I knew the game was over the moment the celtics took their first lead..

I hope Bynum can give us some productive minutes game 5

U serious? Most casual fans probably are unaware of this stat. Anyways the game last night was one of the best playoff games I've ever seen. The Celtics have had so many guys contributing which is great to see. I don't think i've ever seen three key starters out of a game that long in a close 4th quarter.

--Boston is fully capable of winning in the Staples Center at least one more time.
--So all they gotta do is defend homecourt and this thing is done with. 47-1.

Hell no. It's a cool stat, but it's nowhere near as meaningful as a perfect season.
