Oregon. vol...girl wants to visit.

my girl has a hard-on for oregon and has been dropping hints that she'd like to go. I've been, once, but when I was like 10 or 12 and remember NO SALES TAX. 
Anyone recommend someplace romantic to visit and places to see and eat while we are there?
