The outside will glow, similar to the soccer stadium in Munich, but it goes beyond just the looks

Set to open within 5-6 years since their not building a new stadium, their going to renovate one of the most historic stadiums in the world.

I toured the stadium last summer and I was not impressed.  It can stand to be renovated in quite a few areas.

in sports most teams want to be known as tough and dominant since after all its a physical competition, but i think its cool how barcas colorfulness kind of represents their free-flowing, fun, aesthetically nice brand of soccer and this stadium is just adding to it. although it might be a little bit OD and too cute in this instance and might make it seem like too much a party/carnival like atmosphere. but i think if its possible for any team to pull off a stadium with a color scheme that looks like it was designed by 9 year old girls and hippies, and not lose any respect, its barcelona because it fits their style so well.

I agree with ya saying that they should leave such an historic stadium alone but i don't know know of many know this but theirs no ONE owner for the team. Basically the fans/community of Barcelona owns the team and they wanted this done and so does the players. They aren't going to tear it down & build a new one, their looking at making it THEE premier stadium in the whole world and as of now the pictures and designs would be 100x
