So, so happy for dude. Like I've said before, I've always liked the guy, but really became a fan after he was scapegoated for the Malace at the Palace.
I already knew he was a hustler, but that let me know this is a real dude that just happens to be really, really good at basketball.
I was so happy to learn we picked him up, and SO happy to see his contributions to this championship. FROM THE BEGINNING, this dude said 'I kno wif we don't win a championship, it's on me,' and then he went out and helped reel in #16.
And I'm not saying I would sa all the things he said in his press conference, but the dude isn't status quo, doesn't play the superstar role, saying what he's supposed to say and what not.
And I think it's funny how so many Laker fans doubted and crossed fingers... and now that we've won it all W/ UNDENIABLE HELP from Tru Warier, all I'm seeing is stuff like 'Oh yeah, thanks, Ron,' like dudes already had their criticisms typed out, and are mad they can't use 'em.
Artest jersey will be copped.
