I'm not surprised, especially if he was

Have any of you been to a live UFC event? A buddy of mine is trying to go. He comes back from Cuba in about a year (Military) so i have plenty of time to scope out some good fights/ prices.

How was the experience?

IMO don't go if you're just gonna sit far. My cheap *** friends didn't want to spend so we sat high up for ufc 199 in la

Might as well just stayed at home it wasn't anything that great about it

If you sit closer I'm assuming you can hear the corners and hear the fighters and actually comprehend how they move

Sitting high up you don't get the feel for their movements as you're squinting to even try to see

I've been to 3 events, all in NJ. The energy is great when you go there live. You can feel the electricity and the roar of the crowd whenever there is a finish. The only negative thing I can think of is whenever the fight goes to the ground, you will probably need to watch the big screen to see exactly what's going on. With that being said, you and your buddy should definitely go to a live event, if just for the experience.

Ive been to a few amateur fights because I have a few homies that are trying to go pro/ UFC. I love the energy and seeing the athleticism in person is amazing. Thats true, you most likely need great seats to fully enjoy the experience. How much were you guys paying for tickets?

I caught myself doing that a few times smh that's when I knew the **** was dumb

I've gone to Vegas during fight weekend (mayweather v. Mosley ) and stars were everywhere from the plane flight to the baggage claim to the lobbies etc. everywhere you go and sit.

Would not ever do that again. Prices are all jacked up, we were gonna do one of those viewing parties at a casino but ended up saying f it. We just ordered the fight from room and invited people over that we met at the pool. easily the best way to do it. People will throw in some fade for some drinks, the fight, food, etc.

Man at least you could order the fight from your room, that's the best and such a good ice breaker to get females over

I went to Vegas for Floyd canelo and no rooms could order it apparently they did some sort of blackout for all the hotels

Cowboy isn't a huge surprise considering he said he wanted to get 50 fights in the UFC before retiring. He always manages to put on a good show even in losing. His fan base is big enough to bargain a little bit too, I'm sure he did just fine in resigning.

Gsp wants to return December 10 in Toronto

He told mmafighting today that he's all set and in his prime. It's a matter of meeting with the new owners to hammer out a deal
