The stories my co worker tells me about that place are phenomenal. From shooting movies in there to epic shows and various fights, that was THE place to be in the mid/late 90s. And the songs listed, sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh pick your top 75 bangers from 2000 - 2010. Compare and contrast the differences, *!$+'s mind boggling. I feel the same, as a teenager in the 90's growing up in Houston, reading, and hearing about the Tunnel in songs and interviews It seemed like one of those places that you couldn't believe existed. The most major artists of the time in a spot like that... I wonder how some of today's artist and their music would fare in the Tunnel It was definitely on my hip hop bucket list, sadly, I was too young and too far away to ever visit it while it still existed, that and Freaknik It was owned by alleged drug trafficker, Peter Gatien owner of the Limelight and other NYC clubs from the club kid scene in the late 80's It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Almost similar to Atl's Bounce, I remember tryin to drop $40 a piece for all my friends on the last night as a broke college student. Kast One, Bobby Trends & Big Ben (3 the hard way) use to have 3 hour segments starting at midnights with the last hour being "hood classics", they'd play that LOX "Get At Me Dog" freestyle too I'm sure that specific track isn't hard to find.
