You know... there was a time when retros were exact replicas. That was the whole idea of the retro.
I can deal with newer retros not being exactly like the OG's, but I do not like the material used on the black/ifrared VI's (or the black/v-red VI's). That's all I was saying.
This pack just didn't do it for me. If the black/infrareds in this pack looked a little more like the OG's, i.e. nubuck instead of "suede-like" material, I may have purchased.
I'm happy for those who did want the pack and were able to get one (or more). Congrats!
Ok... first of all... 9-7 = 2, so they are 2 years old (actually 2 and a half years old because they released in March of 2007).
Second... I've seen shoes that are 6 months old look that beat. It all depends on what you wear them for. If you play outdoor ball in them, for sure theyare going...

Thank you for putting "back in the day" into perspective. I love how a lot of people are reminiscing about how it was "back in the day"and they are referring to stories that took place 6-9 years ago LOL.
