more flexibility = more control = better the free technology in 2k5 have nothing to do with its cushioning.

^^^ EXACTLY! it is only the forefoot outsole *_inspired_* by the free technology, that is the flex-groove. which makes it a _little_ bit more flexible there. basically you can bend the NIKE FREE 5.0 in a 90 degrees angle, see pics below, but you can hardly bend 2K5 with your hand.

hmmm yeah. you're right on point, the only nike free tech used in 2K5 is the flex grooves on the sole for flexibility: This is quoted from the new ads on nike.com website: "Nike free-inspired Flex Grooves provide added flexibility for more natural motion...." I don't know about the comfort...
