Shield 39 looks less boot-like than the 38, let’s see if that translates to feel and performance… I went back to my 37 Shields after a little while with the 38s.

These look kinda bulky like the 38s, might need to see if I can track down another pair of 37 Shields, which I like better than the 38 in every way.

It seemed like the 38s were excluded from discount for a really long time, even really basic “team” colors.

Curious to see what the Shield versions look and feel like — as someone who has to run in the rain what seems like three quarters of the year, they’re a mainstay for me. I much prefer the 37 Shield to the 38 equivalent — the former still feels like wearing a running shoe while the latter often...

I like that color scheme — simple, classic, has a kind of early to mid 90s throwback feel to it.

I can’t say I love the first run of colors, would love something simple with bright accents — something like the Streakfly… The gray, silver, and white ones are okay, might have to wait for some “team” colors to get a white/black or see if they do any brighter colors later. Seems like summer...

Made a rare trip to a Nike factory store this weekend hoping maybe I’d find something at a nice price. I seem to strike out more often than not — but I found a pair of Pegasus 36s priced at just $35… for my wife. No such luck over in the mens shelves, but I guess it’s good to know great deals...

Zoom Fly 5 looks so chunky! Really interested to see reviews and in-use photos when those come out.

I really liked the upper on the 36 so it’s encouraging to hear the 39 is in a similar ballpark. They do look similar!
