Some stores did still get the packs with the gold eyelets. I know when I was working at champs, we got a random shipment about a month after the initial release with about 6 packs in a box. All had the gold eyelets.

I picked up some acorns through a phone order from an outlet in Maine back in the day too. That brought back some good memories. Haha

Yeah, I compared them to the pair that I got from finish line and they look the same. And just to clarify, these were bought at a Nike Clearance store not an outlet.
